2021 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO : CLASSY AND BLACK, ESSENTIALLY PRO.

Introducing the new 2021 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO…

Live the road with the new 1100 Dark PRO.

Hit the road, ride with pride, enchant the streets with tons of personality. New 1100 Dark PRO. Black heart, Scrambler soul.

Even more fun and high performance, featuring an original design, the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO and 1100 Sport PRO are the ideal choice for those who want to ride a motorcycle with a 1079 cc engine with generous torque right from the bottom of the rev range, a 15-litre steel tank that, combined with the comfortable seat with new coating, ensure that even the longest rides are enjoyed in comfort.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO is designed for bikers who are eager to join the Ducati Scrambler world – and revel in its iconic style and sense of freedom – and relish the prospect of out-of-town rides, perhaps also with a passenger. Like all bikes in the Ducati Scrambler family, an agile suspension set-up soon gets you off the city streets so you can have serious yet safe fun on the twisty countryside roads. As-standard Cornering ABS and Traction Control provide outstanding safety, making the Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO perfect for expert and inexperienced riders alike.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO combines the new two-tone Ocean Drive colour scheme with a steel Trellis frame and rear aluminium subframe, both black. The aluminium covers are also black. A new right-side dual tailpipe and low-slung plate holder ensure distinctive rear-end styling and, together with the new livery, give the bike a coiled, compact look. Another hallmark is the framed headlight with glass lens, DRL (Daytime Running Light) and the signature X-shaped black grill.

While the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO features all the styling details of the PRO, a unique equipment set featuring Öhlins suspension, low-slung handlebars and Café Racer rear-view mirrors make it the beefiest version in the Scrambler family. The 1100 Sport PRO also features a Matt Black colour scheme, complemented by side panels sporting a painted 1100 logo.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO represents the entry model to the “Land of Joy” 1100 range. An elegant, pure and completely customizable bike, characterized by the “Dark Stealth” livery, combined with a tubular steel frame and rear subframe in aluminium, both black.

The 1100 Dark PRO has the same iconic and original design as the other two models in the range, but differs from its “big brothers”, as well as for the matt black colour with parts in natural anodized aluminium, for customization with rear-view mirrors in classic style.

Made with the aim of fully transmitting some typical elements of the Ducati Scrambler brand, such as purity, essentiality and a sense of freedom, the 1100 Dark PRO is the right bike to get on the saddle and conquer every road with personality. Black heart, Ducati Scrambler soul.

2021 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Iconic style

With the new Dark Stealth color, combined with the tubular steel frame and the aluminium rear frame, both in black. The rear is the most distinctive part of the bike thanks to the right side dual exhaust and the low number plate holder, which make an important contribution to making the bike compact.

Full of technology

With the electronic management system Ride by Wire and the inertial platform, Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO offers high standards of active safety and performance always within everyone’s reach and for every type of use thanks to the three Riding Modes. The Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO is equipped with Ducati Traction Control (DTC).

Engine

The engine of the Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO is an air-and oil-cooled, 1079 cm³, two-valve L-twin engine with EURO 5 approval. It has a bore of 98 mm and a stroke of 71.5 mm and favours smooth acceleration at all rpm and ease of handling. The Desmodue engine of the Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO has lightweight crankcases and machined aluminium clutch and alternator covers. The two belt covers are also made of aluminium and they are also machined to enhance the aesthetics.

Riding comfort

With tubular steel trellis frame with double top beam. Essential, like the Scrambler, it embraces the engine and is completed by an aluminium rear frame. It guarantees great agility in traffic as much as between hairpin bends in the mountains. Thanks to the wide handlebar, moving between urban obstacles is child’s play with the Scrambler, while the 1,514 mm wheelbase maximises stability, even at high speeds.

Brembo braking system

The Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO is equipped with a Brembo braking system with ABS Cornering, which guarantees safety in all types of corners. At the front, a 320 mm diameter double disc has been fitted to two Brembo M 4.32B monobloc four-piston calipers with radial connection. At the rear there is a 245 mm disc on which a 34 mm single-piston caliper works. The ABS system has only one level of intervention and is not switchable.

Innovative lighting

The light guide along the outer circumference, powered by an LED source that acts as a position light, is a DRL (Daytime Running Light), which allows the Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO to be easily recognizable even during the day. Taking inspiration from the tape that was applied to the headlights in the 1970s to preserve the light cluster, a black metal “X” was recreated inside the headlight. At the rear, the optical group is of the full LED type with a diffusion effect and uses a technology that is unique in the world of two wheels.
