The TC 250 comfortably holds the top step in the 250 cc 2-stroke motocross class. Featuring the latest in 2-stroke motocross technology and delivering the highest level of performance and quality. Paired with modern bodywork, advanced ergonomics and premium parts standard, the TC 250 promises superior comfort and control in all riding conditions.

For 2022 we upgraded the hydraulic clutch to an all new high-performance Brembo system for perfect modulation at all times. On top, striking new dark blue and white graphics stylishly adorn the Swedish inspired design.

The Early Days of Moto

In the 1950s, Husqvarna’s ultra lightweight and compact ‘Silverpilen’ street model was the first choice for riders wanting to build offroad-capable self-modified bikes.

The first official European Motocross Championship was held in 1952, with the first World Championship running in 1957.

Husqvarna’s first motocross championship titles came in 1959 (Rolf Tibblin’s European 250 cc title) and 1960 (Bill Nilsson’s 500 cc world title).

In both 1962 and 1963 Husqvarna swept the 250 cc and 500 cc world titles in a single season with Rolf Tibblin and Torsten Hallman.

The first production motocross competition models arrived in 1963 with a production run of 100 replicas of Hallman’s championship bike.

Thanks to cross-Atlantic exploits to introduce the sport to the USA by riders like Torsten Hallman, the sport exploded in popularity in the late ‘60s and ‘70s.

By 1979 Husqvarna Motorcycles had clinched 13 motocross world titles, 9 Baja 1000 wins and multiple victories in the US nationals and legendary Trans-AMA series.

Together with the new dark blue and white colour scheme, Husqvarna Motorcycles has improved the durability of all full-size TC and FC machines with each model now featuring a Brembo hydraulic clutch system. The high-performance component is thoroughly race-tested to guarantee even wear, near maintenance-free operation, and perfect action in all conditions.

Ensuring exceptional comfort and control, the 2022 motocross models are equipped with class-leading WP Suspension, which delivers precise handling to riders of all skill levels. Highly adjustable WP XACT forks with AER technology feature a capsulated air spring and pressurised oil chamber for consistent damping across rough terrain. Complimenting the forks, the low-friction seals on the WP XACT shock ensure optimal rear-end performance on all surfaces.

Exclusive to both the FC 250 and FC 350 machines, for 2022 a new friction bearing on the counter-balancer shaft increases the durability of the high-revving 4-stroke engines.

ENGINE
The 250cc 2-stroke engine is the ultimate combination of unsurpassed power and lightweight construction. The simplicity and low maintenance cost of the 2-stroke motor makes it a favorite amongst motocross riders.

Chassis
CHROMIUM-MOLYBDENUM FRAME
Precision engineered for an exact balance of stiffness and torsional flex, the frame features advanced geometries aimed at delivering accurate rider feedback, handling response, energy absorption and straight-line stability. The frame is finished off in a premium blue powder coating and standard frame protectors for superior protection and durability.

Control
WP XACT FRONT SUSPENSION
The 48 mm split air fork features a capsulated air spring and pressurized oil chamber for progressive and consistent damping. Extended oil and air bypasses reduce pressure peaks and 300mm cartridges and outer tubes provide refined rigidity. In combination with a midvalve damping system, the fork provides exceptional feedback and rider comfort. The setting is easily adjusted via the single air pressure pre-load valve, as well as through easy access click adjusters for compression and rebound. Additionally, the air pump needed to adjust the fork’s air pressure is provided as standard.
