Returning for 2025 is the ultimate, lightweight woods machine – the TE 125. Built to the highest standard, this small capacity enduro model is certainly big on capability. Its modern 2-stroke engine is equipped with the latest technology to deliver user-friendly power while WP suspension, Michelin tyres, and a compliant chassis combine to elevate the riding experience. Expertly crafted with premium components throughout including D.I.D rims, ProTaper handlebars, and a Brembo clutch, the TE 125 makes a triumphant return to the Husqvarna line-up for 2025.

The all-new TE 125 is fully redesigned for 2025. For ambitious young riders, the latest generation machine features many of the parts found on the proven, larger capacity 2-stroke models, including Throttle Body Injection (TBI) and a Map Select Switch. Together with a close-ratio, 6-speed gearbox, WP XACT suspension, and Brembo clutch and brake systems, the TE 125 makes an exciting return.

The proven Brembo components are new for all models in the line-up to improve both the performance and reliability of each machine. Further revisions include new, Swedish-inspired graphics and an updated swingarm to enhance the durability of the chain slider.

All 2-stroke models – the TE 125, TE 150, TE 250, and TE 300 – are lightweight and highly capable enduro motorcycles. Offering easy maintenance, class-leading rideability, and an exceptional build quality, the range ensures all riders can take full advantage of the competitive edge that each machine provides.

For those who prefer high performance 4-stroke enduro machinery, a choice of four established models is available – the FE 250, FE 350, FE 450, and the FE 501. Unrivalled power

Engine

All of the latest technical innovations ensure the TE 125 engine delivers unrivalled performance and best-in-class rideability. Fuelled by Throttle Body Injection (TBI), maximum torque and strong power throughout the rev-range ensures the TE 125 is easy to ride for both youngsters and hobby riders alike. The compact engine is designed to position all internal components to assist with centralising mass, which plays a vital role in the lightweight and agile handling of this exceptional machine.

Cylinder

The cylinder features a 54 mm bore and as the TE 125 is fuelled via Throttle Body Injection (TBI), the traditional powervalve is replaced with an innovative electronic exhaust control system. Using an actuator, the lateral exhaust port and main exhaust port open simultaneously for maximum power. Together with a machined finish on the upper contour of the exhaust port, engine performance is unrivalled.

Throttle body

The electronic fuel injection system on the TE 125 brings many benefits. The ECU constantly analyses the running condition of the engine and always guarantees the perfect air/fuel ratio through the state-of-the-art 39 mm Keihin throttle body. EFI also introduces two different engine maps, which can easily be selected via the handlebar-mounted switch for a personalised riding experience. Map 1 (white) is designed for technical terrain while Map 2 (green) is more aggressive and suited to sand and heavier track conditions. Additionally, the reed valve system is designed to reduce excess fuel build up, which prevents a rich running of the engine in extreme downhill sections.

Crankcase

Designed to be low in weight without sacrificing strength or reliability, the crankcases are made using a high-pressure die cast production process to create a thin-wall design. To centralise engine mass, the shaft arrangements are precisely positioned to harness rotating masses at the ideal centre of gravity.

Exhaust

Tailored specifically for the TE 125 using an innovative 3D design process, the exhaust pipe delivers unrivalled performance and is designed for maximum ground clearance to reduce the risk of impact damage out on the trail. The compact silencer is made from lightweight, high strength aluminium and features an advanced internal construction for excellent noise damping.

 

State-of-the-art chassis

Frame

A proven chromium molybdenum steel frame ensures straight-line stability at speed without sacrificing agility through the slow and technical sections. Optimised wall thickness throughout the chassis aids durability, in addition to providing unparalleled rider feedback and energy absorption. For an optimised level of anti-squat behaviour and overall chassis balance, the shock is not directly connected to the main tube. The frame is complete with a premium metallic blue powder coating with frame protectors offering improved grip in all conditions.

Hybrid subframe

Made from 60% polyamide and 40% aluminium, the subframe offers exceptional strength and durability at a low overall weight of just 1.8 kg. The lower subframe spars and frame mounts are manufactured from cast aluminium for reliability with the upper section made from injection-molded polyamide to enable specific flex characteristics.

Swingarm

The swingarm is manufactured using a die-cast production process for optimal rigidity. To match the flex characteristics of the chassis, a 22 mm rear axle is utilised. Additionally, the swingarm is designed to enhance the durability of the chain glider while the chain guide features a rounded profile that makes it less prone to catching on external objects.

Bodywork

Adorned with clean, Swedish-inspired graphics, the bodywork is designed to allow riders to perform at their best for extended periods of time. A flat seat profile offers unrestricted movement with a new, high grip cover ensuring riders stay firmly in place under hard acceleration. Above the side panels, recessed pockets allow for the machine to be lifted and moved, which is particularly beneficial for those competing in extreme enduro events.

Fueltank

An 8.5 litre fuel tank integrates neatly with the ergonomic bodywork and features a robust rubber cushion beneath it to hold the tank in place and protect the frame from wear. The one-piece fuel pump design and integrated filter allows the tank to be emptied further, which is particularly beneficial during longer events. For durability, the external fuel line is specifically routed to make it less exposed and susceptible to damage.

Radiators

Manufactured from high-strength aluminium, the radiators are designed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to channel air through them in the most effective way. A large centre tube channels coolant through the frame to reduce pressure at this point in the system for a more consistent flow. An internal thermostat enhances reliability while the radiator cap features a bayonet style closure for a secure fitment.

Innovative advantage

WP XACT front forks

Designed and developed for the rigours of enduro riding, the WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring forks offer consistent performance thanks to an innovative internal design that optimises oil flow and prevents oil from foaming. The hydrostop, effective in the last 68 mm of travel, is highly advantageous when landing heavily as it helps to maintain forward momentum. Additionally, riders can alter the compression and rebound settings quickly and easily using the tool-free adjusters found at the top and bottom of each fork leg.

WP XACT rear shock

The lightweight WP XACT rear shock offers 300 mm of travel. With the rebound and both high and low speed compression adjustable by hand, setting changes can be made quickly and easily without tools. Complete with a CFD optimised shock piston, low friction seals, and a small diameter linkage bolt to reduce weight, consistent damping, comfort, and traction is guaranteed.

Hydraulic brakes

The highest level of performance is guaranteed thanks to the class leading Brembo calipers and controls. Together with GSK wave discs (260 mm disc front and 220 mm rear), which are designed to prevent mud from building up, superior stopping power and braking confidence is assured in all conditions.

Hydraulic clutch

The high-performance Brembo hydraulic clutch system guarantees even wear, near maintenance-free operation, and perfect action in every condition. With this hydraulic system, free play is constantly compensated so that the pressure point, and function of the clutch remain identical in cold or hot conditions, as well as over time. Countless hours of testing have proven the reliability of the high-quality, Italian-made Brembo hydraulic system.

Wheels and tyres

Black high-strength alloy rims by D.I.D are laced to CNC machined hubs using lightweight spokes and silver anodised aluminium nipples. Fitted to the wheels are Michelin Enduro tyres, which are used by Husqvarna Factory Racing, as they offer superior grip on a wide variety of terrain.

Triple clamps

The black-anodized, CNC-machined triple clamps offer premium quality as standard. They have a carefully calculated 22 mm offset and are expertly crafted using superior techniques and materials for the highest levels of quality and reliability. The handlebar clamp has a large contact surface with the ProTaper bars to help prevent twisting in the event of a crash and offers two mounting options for customisable ergonomics.

 

Technology advanced

LED headlight

The LED headlight provides a remarkably bright light output for excellent visibility at night and is particularly effective when riding through dense woodland. A clever mounting design sees the LED lighting unit fitted inside the headlight mask using a quick-release system that allows it to be replaced quickly and easily if damaged.

Map switch

By using the Map Select Switch, the engine characteristics can be tailored to modify the power delivery according to rider preference or conditions. It offers a choice of two settings that can be engaged while riding – Map 1, for predictable, linear power, and Map 2, for a stronger throttle response that is perfectly suited to heavy conditions.

Footrest

Using state-of-the-art computational fluid dynamics, the large footrests are designed for maximum control and to prevent mud from building up. Additionally, the mounting position brings them inwards, which makes them less susceptible to catching on the ground through deep ruts.

Electric start

Taken from the motocross range, the combined start/stop switch is located on the right side of the handlebar for easy, thumb-operated use. Not only simplifying the starting and stopping of the engine, but the removal of a designated stop only button from the handlebar reduces the risk of potential damage or activation in the event of a fall.

Engine management system

The Vitesco Engine Management System (EMS) is designed to be small, light, and fast at processing data. It incorporates a Rollover Sensor (ROS) that cuts the ignition and shuts off the engine in the event of a severe crash for an additional layer of safety.
