2000 Yamaha XT225 Review:

Fun off-road as well as on…

It was built because you’ll have days when the urge to scoot off to work or school will overwhelm you. And, if you’re lucky, you can string together a few twisty back roads on the way.

Six-speed gearbox puts power to ground instantly in variety of terrain.

Internal engine counterbalancer smooths out vibration at high-rpm paces.

Engine tucked high in frame for over 11″ of ground clearance.

Air-adjustable fork with 8.9″ of travel and preload/rebound-adjustable rear shock with 7.5″ of travel.

Aluminum skid plate provides added engine protection.

Electric start, handlebar-mounted choke for extra convenience.

Wide front fender keeps mud and dirt off rider.
