Roberts Continues His Podium Streak at West Hare Scrambles in Bellingham

Liqui Moly Beta Factory Racing’s Zane Roberts put on a stellar performance at Round 6 of the AMA West Hare Scrambles Regional Championship, tackling the tight, technical woods of Hannegan Speedway at the Great Escape Hare Scramble in Bellingham, Washington. Aboard his Beta Factory 480 RR, Roberts showcased his off-road versatility by relentlessly fighting at the front of the two-and-a-half-hour race. Crediting crucial setup modifications made by his mechanic, the desert ace successfully adapted to the grueling, tight terrain to cross the finish line on the podium in 3rd place.

“Pretty good weekend for the penultimate round of the AMA WHS. Bellingham has always been a very challenging course for me as it’s extremely tight, rooty, and slippery. Terrain that is hard to replicate and practice on anywhere close to home. After a pretty decent start, I settled into third and did my best to keep the leaders in sight. Still wasn’t an amazing performance, but I rode really well for myself in the woods and finished with a 3rd place and a lot of positives to take into summer break.”
