Roberts Wins Fourth Consecutive Virginia City Grand Prix

At the 55th Annual Virginia City Grand Prix, Beta factory rider Zane Roberts delivered a masterclass in patience and precision to secure his fourth consecutive victory at the iconic Nevada event. Choosing to test himself with a unique challenge, Roberts started from the very back of the sold-out field on row 53. Navigating through heavy dust and nearly 1,000 other competitors, he methodically picked his way through race traffic and rocky terrain. By the end of the third lap, Roberts had successfully moved into the lead on adjusted time. He continued to chip away at the physical gap for the remainder of the grueling four-hour race, ultimately crossing the finish line to cement his status as the undisputed king of the Virginia City Grand Prix.

“This was my fourth year in a row doing the Virginia City Grand Prix, it is one of my favorite events on the calendar every year! After winning the last three years consecutively we decided it would be a fun challenge to try starting at the back of the field. Starting on row 53, number 530, I knew I was going to have to be patient and pick my way through hundreds of riders on the first couple of laps before I’d be able to push for the win. I took my time and just tried to stay moving through the bottlenecks and consistently passing people, by the end of the third lap I was able to take over the lead on adjusted time, although I still had quite a few riders physically ahead of me. From there I just kept chipping away and passing riders for the remainder of the 4+ hour event to eventually bring home my fourth VCGP win!”
