Suzuki Endurance Racing Team will start tomorrow’s Oschersleben 8-Hours from third position on the grid with the GSX-R1000 Suzuki just 0.218-seconds from pole following today’s final qualifying for the fourth and penultimate round of the 2018-2019 EWC.
The 15-times world champions, and current series leaders – Vincent Philippe, Etienne Masson and Gregg Black – stayed with a combined lap of 1:26.766; the same as yesterday’s time at the 3.667km Motorsport Arena Oschersleben Circuit. Philippe clocked a best lap of 1:26.785, Masson 1:26.822 and Black 1:26.693.
Also, in today’s final qualifying, six more Suzuki GSX-R1000 teams took part with Superstock Championship contenders, Junior Team LMS – Louis Rossi, Hugo Clere and Alexis Masbou – finishing fourth fastest in class and 16th overall in the joint EWC-SST rankings.
