Suzuki Endurance Racing Team leads the opening round of the 2018-2019 Endurance World Championship after third-distance of the 82nd Bol d’Or 24 Hour Race at Paul Ricard Circuit in France. GSX-R1000-mounted Vincent Philippe, Etienne Masson and Gregg Black had completed at total of 243 laps after 8 hours and 30 minutes after a changeover of rider to Black at this point. They are a lap ahead of second-placed Honda Endurance Racing Team and SRC Kawasaki, who were both on 242. So far, the French SERT team have taken a total of nine pit stops with the new GSX-R1000 as the event has seen close and exciting racing throughout, with the lead changing several times.
