Yamaha Motor Europe would like to extend its thanks to Xavi Vierge as it confirms that the Spaniard’s partnership with Yamaha’s Official WorldSBK team will conclude at the end of the 2026 season.
Vierge joined the Pata Maxus Yamaha Official Team WorldSBK at the start of 2026 and has made a highly valued contribution to Yamaha’s WorldSBK effort in his tenure with the team, with best finishes so far of sixth place at Portimão and Assen.
Yamaha and Vierge will continue to fully commit to the shared objective of achieving the best possible results through to the end of the 2026 campaign.
