40,000 PEOPLE VISITED MOTO GUZZI’S NEW HOME, WHILE THE NEW MUSEUM RECORDED 30,000 ADMISSIONS: PLACES THAT ARE ALREADY THE GLOBAL BENCHMARK FOR STYLE AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY

Mandello del Lario, 6 September 2026 – More than 60,000 people, most arriving by motorcycle from all over the world, attended this special edition of GMG – Moto Guzzi World Days, which coincided with the inauguration of Moto Guzzi’s new factory in Mandello del Lario and its new Museum.
Almost five years of work and an investment of more than €50 million have delivered one of the most visionary and ambitious industrial architecture projects of recent years. Not just a new factory and a new museum, but a place where ingenuity and technology, legend and passion come together to generate new ideas and to imagine and build the future.
During the four days of GMG, the new site hosted 40,000 visits, while the Museum recorded almost 30,000 admissions. Across 3,000 square metres of ultra-modern spaces, the Museum houses an extraordinary collection of 160 motorcycles, many of them priceless one-off machines. The view from the Museum over the new production lines connects Moto Guzzi’s past with the brand’s future.
On Saturday morning, a parade of 1,500 Moto Guzzi motorcycles from every era made its way from Lecco to Mandello, led by the Corazzieri, the President of the Italian Republic’s Honour Guard, riding their mighty official Moto Guzzi California 1400 motorcycles. The entire Aprilia Racing MotoGP team joined the celebrations, including riders Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Martín and Lorenzo Savadori, and MotoGP legend Max Biaggi.
Amid so many motorcycles and so much passion, there was also room for romance: today six couples chose to renew their wedding vows at the factory, in the large tree-lined square of the Wind Tunnel, one of the site’s most iconic buildings, now fully restored and renovated.
The Virgin Radio stage kept the festivities alive every day, with guests discussing racing, travel and adventure, while free test rides departed from the heart of the factory, giving around 600 enthusiasts the chance to ride the entire Moto Guzzi range on the road, from the classic V7 and the go-anywhere V85 to the V100 Mandello sports tourer and the long-distance traveller Stelvio.
