| Aprilia’s positive momentum in MotoAmerica continued thanks to Hank Vossberg’s victory in Race 2 with the Aprilia RS 660 in the sixth round of the Twins Cup, held at Mid-Ohio. The 15-year-old Robem Engineering Team rider confirmed his excellent form with another front-running performance in the Twins Cup class. After claiming pole position, Vossberg finished Race 1 in third place, just six tenths of a second behind the winner, before going on to take victory in Race 2. Thanks to these results, the American rider extends his lead in the Twins Cup standings to 218 points, opening up a 63-point advantage over his closest rival. In addition to Vossberg’s victory, three more Aprilia RS 660 riders finished inside the top ten in Race 2: Andrew Weyh in sixth, Logan Cunnison in seventh, and Eli Block in ninth. Race 1 had also highlighted the RS 660’s competitiveness and consistency, with five Aprilia bikes finishing inside the top ten. |
