Aprilia shines in the BSB, with the RS 660 winning both races in the Sportbike class

ALFIE DAVIDSON OF TEAM INCOMPETITION APRILIA TAKES THE RS 660 TO THE TOP STEP OF THE PODIUM AT OULTON PARK
Aprilia got off to a strong start in the opening round of the British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park, with Alfie Davidson the standout performer in the Pirelli Sportbike class, securing pole position and a double race victory.

In the British production-derived bikes championship, Alfie Davidson of Team INCompetition Aprilia, riding the Aprilia RS 660, secured his first pole position and won Race 1 by just 0.049 thousand of a second. In Race 2, starting from third on the grid, he lost three positions at the start but, with a strong pace, fought his way back to the front by lap five, before successfully defending against his rivals to claim his second victory of the weekend with a margin of 0.175 tenths of a second.

The opening round at Oulton Park also saw another Aprilia on the podium in both races, with Harley McCabe of Team Fibre Tec Aprilia by MLav Racing finishing third in both Race 1 and Race 2. Another Aprilia was consistently present in the top ten, with Ted Wilkinson of Team TWR Ted Wilkinson Aprilia finishing ninth in Race 1 and eighth in Race 2.
