Barnes on the Podium at the Second Round of the US Sprint Enduro

Round 2 of the 2026 US Sprint Enduro series proved to be a grueling test of both man and machine. As unpredictable weather patterns swept through the venue, the weekend became a game of two halves: a tactical struggle against the elements followed by a high-speed showdown on Sunday as the tracks reached near-prime conditions. In the Pro 1 division, Beta’s Cody Barnes delivered a hard-fought 3rd place finish in class. Barnes struggled to find his flow in the weather of the opening tests. But as the course dried out and the traction improved on Sunday, Barnes began to drop his times significantly. His performance in the final Enduro tests was particularly impressive. He posted back-to-back blistering times of 5:24.1 and 5:24.4, some of the fastest laps of the entire weekend, regardless of class. This late-race surge allowed him to solidify his spot on the Pro 1 podium and keep the pressure on the leaders.

“Third place in the Pro 1 class at the second round of the US Sprint Enduro. Wild weather, but the track turned out really good on Sunday. Continuing to learn and make progress with the bike and the team! Thanks to my mechanic for all your hard work and for making sure the bike is top-notch.”
