| Bloss Finishes in Top Ten in Moto 2 at High Point
The AMA Pro Motocross Championship traveled to Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, for round four of the 2026 season at the iconic High Point Raceway. Deep ruts, tough elevation changes, and brutal afternoon conditions tested the entire field.
Benny Bloss showed strong speed early in the day, qualifying 12th overall in the combined timed sessions. While he faced a challenging opening moto that resulted in an early exit after just six laps and a 38th-place finish, Bloss was determined to rebound in Moto 2. He put together a stellar performance, logging consistent laps, clocking a personal best lap time of 2:11.050, and charging through the field to secure a hard-fought 10th-place finish. His 38-10 moto scores earned him 16th overall for the day, bringing home 12 championship points.
Mitchell Oldenburg continued to dial in his comfort on the outdoor tracks, securing the 28th gate pick in combined qualifying. Oldenburg kept his nose clean in a chaotic opening moto, putting together a steady ride and maintaining a strong pace on the rough track to cross the finish line in 18th position. In Moto 2, he fought hard just outside the top twenty to finish 23rd after 16 demanding laps. Oldenburg’s 18-23 finishes placed him 24th overall on the day
The team’s top-10 speed in Moto 2 proves the bike’s capability to run at the front of a deeply competitive 450 field. Showing improvement each week, the boys plan to carry that momentum forward into Red Bud. |
