DeMartile Charges into Second Place

Liqui Moly Beta’s Dare DeMartile put together an impressive ride at the Viewfinders Desert Classic Grand Prix in Ridgecrest, California, earning a hard-fought second overall after a fierce battle. A less-than-ideal start forced DeMartile to work his way through the pack, but the Beta rider found his rhythm aboard his Beta Factory 480 RR, steadily reeling in the leaders. Even a tip-over mid-race couldn’t derail his charge. DeMartile regrouped, pushed into second place late, and built a small gap before the checkered flag. The performance marks another strong podium for DeMartile as he looks to close the NGPC season on a high note in Laughlin.

“I had to dig real deep the first couple laps. I did some breathing and calmed myself back down and got charging back to Mateo. I think he was pretty tanked by the last lap. He was making some mistakes, and I saw an opportunity, and I took it and got a good little gap on him at the end.”
