|A host of colour updates will be available across a wide range of Kawasaki machines for 2018; including the popular Vulcan S, Versys 650, Z1000 and Z1000SX.
Vulcan S and Vulcan S CAFE
The popular Vulcan S is set to be available in two new colour options in 2018: Metallic Flat Spark Black and Pearl Lava Orange. Additionally, the contemporary styled Vulcan S CAFE will be available in Pearl Storm Grey.
Gaining praise for not simply its distinctive urban cruiser styling and engineering, the Vulcan S has many fans thanks to its ERGO-FIT adjustability. With two rider seat options, different reach handlebars and foot control adaptations possible to suit riders of different heights and builds, ERGO-FIT has made the 650cc A2 licence compliant machine a logical choice for a huge potential audience.
As the cafe culture market continues to thrive, the Vulcan S CAFE goes a step further than its sibling. With its distinctive Pearl Storm Grey colour and graphic treatment combined with special styling, the Vulcan S CAFE has instant appeal and will attract a wide range of fashion conscious riders.
Part of an impressive five model line-up of 650cc parallel twins in the Kawasaki range for 2018, the refreshed Vulcan S and Vulcan S CAFE share dealer showroom space with the enthusiastically received new sports styled Ninja 650, the contemporary looks of the new-for-2017 Z650 and the much loved Versys 650.
Morihiro Ikoma, Director of Kawasaki Motors Europe commented:
“The mid weight sector is crucial for Kawasaki as it appeals to so many riders. The Vulcan S has proved its value in attracting male and female customers equally with an appeal across those new to biking all the way to experienced riders.”
Remaining true to its core “Versatile System” values, the new model year Versys 650 range is being released in a variety of contemporary colours and graphic treatments.
A hit since its introduction in 2006, the mid-capacity Versys cleverly combines the narrow aspect and light weight of a torquey twin-cylinder engine and a lithe tubular chassis to deliver weekday economy and weekend thrills to a diversity of motorcyclists whether new to biking or seasoned riders.
With its burgeoning accessory range and the prospect of “Edition” models being unveiled later on in the pre-season, the Versys 650 will continue to be a machine of great interest in Kawasaki showrooms. Now with three colour options there will be yet more focus on the popular and adaptable Versys 650.
The Pearl Blizzard White and Metallic Spark Black option reflects the current fashion for white motorcycles as well as cars while the Candy Lime Green and Metallic Spark Black model is sure to be a hit with committed Kawasaki fans. The third option is bound to create conversation and stimulate interest adorned as it is in Metallic Matte Covert Green and Metallic Spark Black.
“We regard the Versys 650 as a core machine in the mid-capacity sector,” stated Morihiro Ikoma, Director of Kawasaki Motors Europe. “With continuing demand each year from European riders and Kawasaki dealers we are delighted to showcase the new model colours for the incoming season.”
With a deserved reputation as an uncompromising ultimate streetfighter machine, the Z1000 will appear on Kawasaki showroom floors in 2018 in a variety of new colour options.
Using the Sugomi design philosophy that is unique to Kawasaki, the Z1000 represents Z at its most evocative and, as such, has won fans across the globe for both its visceral riding experience and predatory good looks.
Balancing each styling gesture equally with an engineering feature, Sugomi establishes a balance between looks and technology, which has informed the look and feel of all recent Z family machines.
The two new colourways will be Emerald Blazed Green, Flat Ebony and Metallic Graphite Grey with the second colourway Pearl Storm Grey, Candy Surf Blue, Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Graphite Grey.
“Since its launch the Z1000 has exemplified the core values of the Z Brand”, said PR Manager for Kawasaki Motors Europe, Martin Lambert. “These two high-impact colourways represent a great visual update for this much loved machine”.
The 2018 Kawasaki Z1000 will be available in the UK from mid-November 2018.
Unique at its original launch, the category leading Z1000SX sport tourer has been developed and refined over seven years of production gaining media and customer accolades in equal measure.
With the urgency and response of the Z1000 at its heart and boasting an impressive list of thoughtful and practical touring features, the Z1000SX has been a consistently strong seller since day one.
Recently updated and revised for the current season – and now boasting even greater sporting and touring ability – there will be three colour options for 2018 season models: Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Graphite Grey plus the second option of Emerald Blazed Green and Metallic Carbon Grey with Metallic Graphite Grey and, finally, Metallic Fusion Silver and Metallic Flat Spark Black.
“The Z1000SX has a loyal following and understandably so”, commented Martin Lambert, PR Manager for Kawasaki Motors Europe. “With many riders purchasing their second or even third Z1000SX – and others attracted to this attractive sport-tour concept from other brands – the addition of new colour options delivers a great model line in a very important market sector for Kawasaki.”

Created to meet the special demands of countries such as Indonesia and Thailand, the Versys-X 300 has quickly carved itself a niche in the European market thanks to its rider friendly, durable engine and accommodating chassis.
With stylish “go-anywhere” looks the Versys-X 300 was conceived as a 300c category machine able to deal with a variety of Far Eastern road surfaces and conditions ranging from perfect, smooth tarmac to gravel strewn flash flood country roads and innumerable pot holes.
With many European countries now suffering the similar conditions thanks to changing weather patterns and restricted road maintenance budgets, the Versys-X 300 has been the default choice for an increasing number of riders whether new to biking or discerning experienced two-wheel fans.
Two colour options will be available in Kawasaki showrooms for the 2018 season, these being Candy Lime Green with Metallic Graphite Grey and, alternatively, Metallic Spark Black with Metallic Graphite Grey.
“The Versys-X 300 has been a really relevant addition to the Versys range”, commented PR Manager for Kawasaki Europe, Martin Lambert. “For many riders the adventure bike styling coupled with low running costs has conveniently represented a best of both worlds scenario.”
