2002 SUZUKI STREET LINE

Suzuki’s street bike line has a solid reputation as having some of the best values in the industry. Versatile machines that have broad appeal, they offer the right combination of price, performance and style. For 2002 all three models are back with all the style, performance and value you’ve come to expect from Suzuki as well as a new addition to the Suzuki street line-up: the all new 2002 DL1000 V-Strom, a multi-purpose machine combining strong V-twin performance, easy handing and distinct styling to create Suzuki’s first Sport Enduro Tourer.

BANDIT GSF1200

Building on the proven performance of the Bandit 1200S, the naked version Bandit 1200 offers a clean and crisp approach to the fairing-equipped Bandit 1200S. As with the Bandit 1200S, the un-faired version will also be available in two stunning colors for 2002 and still retains all the performance, reliability and comfort you’ve come to expect from the big Bandit. The 1157cc air/oil-cooled, 4-cylinder engine when combined with precise cam timing and Mikuni BSR36 carburetors fitted with a throttle position sensor, provides loads of torque in a variety of situations. Add to that a high capacity clutch and oil cooler for a complete 1200cc engine package.

The naked Bandit 1200 utilizes the strong and stable chassis of the fully faired model featuring a preload adjustable cartridge-style front fork and a preload and rebound adjustable rear shock mated to a sturdy aluminum swingarm. Aluminum wheels and radial tires are mounted front and rear with dual 310 mm hydraulic disc brakes in front and a single disc brake mounted at the rear.

Additionally the naked Bandit 1200 has external tie down hooks, a large 5.2 gallon fuel capacity, large passenger grab rails, a spacious storage area, and a handy center stand.

With a price tag of less than $7,000, there’s no excuse for not having the 2002 Bandit 1200 in your garage today.
