ENGINE FEATURES: 1200S(ABS)

– Proven 1157cc, 4-cylinder, air/oil cooled, DOHC 16-valve engine tuned for strong low and midrange power. S

– Mikuni™ BSR36 carburetors with throttle position sensor provide precise ignition timing control for strong low-rpm response. S

– Camshaft timing and stainless steel 4-into-1 exhaust system with aluminum muffler enhances low and midrange power. S

– Smooth-shifting 5-speed transmission. S

– Low-maintenance hydraulic clutch with high-rate springs and large-diameter slave cylinder for improved clutch feel. S

– Maintenance-free battery and digital/transistorized ignition. S

– Pulsed secondary air-injection system (PAIR) for reduced emissions. S


CHASSIS FEATURES: 1200S(ABS)

– Comfortable upright riding position with adjustable tube-type handlebar. S

– Adjustable seat height allows riders of different sizes to tailor the riding position to their personal preference. S

– Wind Tunnel Developed Fairing to protect Driver and Passenger, which is smaller and lighter with a higher windscreen. S

– 30 mm Shorter Fuel Tank, reduced reach from seat to handlebars, and still holds a class-leading 20 Liters. S

– 25 mm Narrower Seat, with frame side covers, to allow a better tuck. S

– Adjustable Seat Height, so the rider can place feet firmly on the pavement. S

– 45 mm Longer Swingarm, made of Aluminum Alloy, larger extruded pentagon-section arms and a cast pivot section featuring a wider cross brace. S

– Optional Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), by monitoring the wheel speed, it matches braking power accordingly. S

– Vertically stacked dual headlights, a line-beam 55watt halogen low beam, and a multi-reflector 55 watt halogen high beam. S

– High-Rigidity tubular frame, designed as narrow as possible where the seat and fuel tank meet, making it easier for the rider to maneuver at low speeds and reach the ground at a stop. S

– Analog Tachometer, and LCD Speedometer, Odometer, Dual Tripmeters, Fuel Gauge, and Clock, for easier reading. On Start-Up Shows the Model Designation of the Bandit “GSF.” S

– 43 mm front forks that feature heavy-duty sliders, with revised caliper brackets. S

– Preload on Front Spring is adjustable, with 130 mm of travel in the front wheel. S

– Preload and damping are adjustable on Rear Spring, with 136 mm of travel. S

– Cast Aluminum, Spiral- Three-Spoke Wheels. S
