THE ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE SPORT TOURING MOTORCYCLE
When you choose the performance of the ST3 S ABS, you step up to the highest quality components, and unparalleled sport touring performance and safety. Superior two-up comfort, the powerful Desmo3 engine, an anti-lock braking system and Superbike-class suspension all combine to put the ST3 S ABS at the pinnacle of the sport touring world.

The ST3 S ABS bristles with our best race-derived components. Front suspension is handled by sport touring-tuned fully adjustable Showa 43mm forks with low friction titanium nitride coated sliders. The aluminium alloy rear swingarm is controlled by an outstanding fully adjustable Öhlins rear shock with a convenient remote pre-load adjuster. Ultra-light Marchesini 5-spoke wheels are mounted front and rear, adding further to the confident road holding manners of the ST3 S ABS.

SAFE AND IN CONTROL
The Ducati ABS system is a major advancement in safety and control. At the core of the Ducati ABS system is a highly advanced electronic processor that senses wheel speed when braking and assists in maintaining control of the motorcycle by preventing tyre lock-up in emergency and low traction situations. Designed to manage the front and rear brake circuits separately, the Brembo brake system with Ducati ABS is designed with a finer function threshold than most systems, enabling it to accommodate even the most aggressive riding styles.

Features and Benefits:

POWER, HANDLING AND COMFORT
The classic European Gran Turismo tradition — powerful engines, sport bike handling and all-day comfort — is the inspiration for the Ducati Sporttouring family. With optional ST saddlebags and a comfortable riding position, the ST3 is an ideal choice for a weeklong tour. A powerful Desmo3 engine combined with world-class suspension and brakes make the ST3 perfect for a day on winding mountain roads.

Ducati Sporttouring ergonomics are second to none. The front fairing and windscreen offer great protection from the elements for a more comfortable, quieter ride. A powerful headlamp offers superior illumination of the road. Handlebars that are height adjustable by 20mm, plus adjustable brake and clutch levers ensure that you are always comfortable and in control. And to make sure that your ST3 remains yours, every ST3 comes with an anti-theft immobilizer system and a Viro wheel lock as standard equipment.

THE DESMO3: IMPRESSIVE TORQUE, YET EASY TO TAME
The Desmo3 engine produces tractable and spirited power, tuned to effortlessly eat up the miles of long-distance journeys.

With 107hp of Desmo power and impressive low-end torque, the 1000 twin-cylinder Desmo3 engine is designed for smooth linear power while still delivering spirited sport performance. The Desmo3 brings together the excellent low-rev torque of 2-valve Desmo engines with the high-rev power of 4-valve Desmo engines, while liquid-cooling and electronic fuel injection ensure consistent, reliable performance.

A highly compact, lightweight cylinder head features Dual Spark technology to optimise combustion efficiency, and reduce both emissions and fuel consumption. The Desmo3 is also environmentally responsible and complies with the strict Euro 3 emissions standards.
