– Radiator shrouds are re-designed for improved cooling effeciency and an aggressive new look

– Increased engine performance at low-to-mid rpm utilizing: – Reshaped intake ports for optimal effeciency – NGK Iridium spark plugs for better combustion – Exhaust pipe is extended by 85mm – Updated carburetor settings
– Re-designed combustion chamber for increased engine output
– Oil control rings are now electro-plated with chrome-nitride coating for increased durability and reduced friction
– New scavenging pump boasts a new design for increasd lubrication and improved durability, combined with reduced mechanical losses at the crankshaft
– Oil strainer is now easily overhauled without separating the crankcases for easy maintenance
– Lightweight exhaust system with titanium head pipe with large-capacity stainless-steel secondary pipe and aluminum muffler
New Chassis
– New radiator has been added for increased rigidity
– Sidecovers are now vented for maximum airflow
– Updated aluminum allow twin spar frame features thicker lower tubes and thinner tank rails for unmatched cornering performance. Suspension settings have also been updated to match the all-new frame
– New aluminum swingarm features a reshaped pivot section with a 10mm wider and 5mm shorter main section
– All-new seat utilizes a new textured side panel for increased knee grip

– Automatic decompression system for easy kick starting
– Suzuki Advanced Sump System permits low crankshaft placement for reduced engine height and low center-of-gravity
– Suzuki Active Vent System – reduces crank chamber pressure and enhances piston ring seal performance
– Four-speed transmission for weight reduction and compact engine size
– Counterbalancer shaft gear-driven off the magneto rotor to reduce engine vibration without adding to engine size or weight
– Narrow cylinder head design featuring shim-under-bucket valve train with titanium valves for reduced reciprocating mass
– Lightweight hollow-type camshafts with carburized surface treatment for durability and high lubrication qualities
– Durable forged-aluminum piston with tin plating and oil retaining grooves to reduce friction and wear
– Electro-plated aluminum cylinder bore for increased durability and heat transfer
– Updated 450cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve engine – lightweight design with emphasis on broad power delivery
– Keihin FCR40 carburetor with hot start system and throttle-position sensor

– Attractive aluminum twin-spar frame designed for optimum strength, rigidity and weight
– Aluminum swingarm with tapered beam features cast-aluminum cross beam to improve straight-line performance
– RM-Z450 rear suspension linkage – allows smooth movement of the rear shock and linkage for improved rear wheel traction
– Lightweight chain guide design – cutaway design reduces weight
– Showa-brand cartridge-style front fork with 47mm inner tube, plus 22-way compression damping, 20-way rebound damping and 12.2 inches of wheel travel
– Showa-brand rear shock absorber with large 50mm piston and 18mm inner rod for increased oil flow and stable damping performance
– Front and rear brake discs now feature re-designed round holes for reduced weight
– Compact 240mm rear disc brake with lightweight caliper body

– Optimized 3D-mapped ignition monitors engine rpm/throttle position and adjustable ignition timing to maintain efficient combustion

– Renthal tapered aluminum handlebars with Renthal-labeled handlebar pad
