2009 Husqvarna SM610 IE

SM 610 – HUSQVARNA. The SM 610 i.e. now has an electronic injection system that was developed in collaboration with Mikuni.

The exhaust system on the four-stroke single cylinder engine has a “closed loop” lambda probe. The catalyser has been redesigned and optimised to meet Euro 3 requirements. Colour schemes will include the classic red/white like on the machine of Gerald Delepine who so dominated the recently concluded 2007 Supermoto Championship. A dark grey colour scheme will also be available.

When it was launched in 2006 the SM610 was awarded the prize of ‘Best Street Supermoto’ by MCN. Since then the bike has been revised to meet the later ‘Euro 3’ emissions regulations with the fitment of electronic fuel injection. Not only does the EFI reduce the emissions output but it transforms the feel of the engine, giving a smoother, more linear power delivery. An impressive engine mated to an equally impressive chassis makes the SM610 one of the best street Supermotos you can buy today.
