Small but mighty, the 2009 Yamaha TT-R125E offers electric start and big fun for the entire family. With a seat just over 30″ off the ground, this TT-R is guaranteed to keep you grinning all ride long. Beefy 31mm fork, YZ inspired styling and Yamaha’s famous reliability means more riding and less wrenching. Push back from the video terminal and really get in the game!

The TT-R 125E has a push button electric starter, 4-stroke powered engine, seat height of less than 30.5 inches with over 10 inches of ground clearance and long travel suspension, with 17″ front and 14″ rear.

Electrify the fun with the convenience of electric starting. Firing up the TT-R 125E is as simple as pushing the “magic” button.

Add in YZ inspired bodywork and flat design seat and you have the perfect machine to discover the fun that is off road riding. With 17″ front and 14″ rear wheels, the TT-R125 allows most riders to get their feet comfortably on the ground. Fun is the name of the game and TT-R125 delivers it big time. Dependable low maintenance engine, electric starting and quiet sound levels will keep parents and neighbors smiling.

Potent, air-cooled, 124cc, SOHC, 2-valve, 4-stroke powerplant produces broad torquey power for maximum, novice friendly off-road fun.

Lightweight crankshaft means fast throttle response.

Internal engine counterbalancer reduces vibration for maximum rider comfort.

Convenient, push-button electric starting is backed up by a manual kick starter too.

Mikuni VM20 carburetor ensures crisp, dependable throttle response and great fuel economy. A pull – pull dual throttle cable system is used.

Easy-access, tools-free, washable, foam air filter adds extra convenience and reduced tune-up costs.

Smooth-shifting, YZ-inspired 5-speed transmission with heavy-duty manual clutch is geared for maximum versatility.

CDI ignition system produces a hot spark for sure starts and never needs maintenance.

Silent design cam chain and automatic cam chain tensioner means minimal maintenance, longer engine life and reduced mechanical noise.

Lightweight, upswept exhaust system provides quiet operation, a screen type spark arrestor to protect Mother Nature and a stylish end cap. Heat shields protect rider form hot components.

Rugged, plastic engine skid plate helps protect the engine cases from damage.

Chassis/Suspension:

Rigid, diamond-type, steel frame features a compact 1,250mm wheelbase for quick, responsive steering and agile handling.

Rugged, box-section, steel swingarm features easy-to-use, eccentric chain adjusters.

31mm Showa front fork assembly with 180mm (7.1″) of wheel travel provides plush, confidence-inspiring control over rough terrain.

Fork boots ensure fork seal and stanchion tube protection from mud and dirt grit.

Monocross link, single-shock rear suspension delivers progressive performance to smooth out rugged trails. Spring preload is adjustable to suit rider’s weight and trail conditions. Rear wheel travel is 160mm (6.3″).

Front and rear drum brakes deliver strong, dependable stopping power.

Low 775mm (30.5″) seat height and 265mm (10.4″) of ground clearance creates a handling-enhancing, low centre of gravity and lets most riders to put both feet down for added confidence.

Smaller 17″ front and 14″ rear wheels inspire greater rider confidence by lowering the centre of gravity and reducing seat height.

6 liter black plastic fuel tank is designed to allow easy rider movements. This tank features a special “fluorination surface treatment” which reduces fuel permeation for improved environmental protection.

Knobby tires offer superb traction in the dirt.

Additional Features:

YZ inspired body work … just like the parts found on our competition YZ series ! We have even added YZ style rad shrouds. This “slim design” bodywork allows for fast, easy rider movements.

Flat YZ-style seat features a “gripper” cover like the bigger YZs for great control. The flat design allows easy rider movements.

Motocross-style handlebar with crossbar for added strength

Large, folding, serrated foot pegs provide excellent footing even in wet or muddy conditions.

Convenient, handlebar-mounted choke knob

Folding, serrated brake pedal and shifter tips resist damage.
