The search for the next generation of motocross talent reaches its next phase as 17 exceptional riders from across Europe prepare for the 2026 BLU CRU Masterclass. Having earned their place through their performances at the YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale, which took place in front of thousands of fans at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, in Ernee, France, these finalists are set to gather at the MC des Costieres circuit in Beauvoisin, France, from November 9th–11th to take the next step in their racing careers.
Over 950 riders registered for the 2026 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup this year, and of these, more than 112 riders took to the track alongside their racing heroes, in front of a record-breaking 105,000 strong audience, at the prestigious Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in France.
The 17 finalists were chosen because of their performance in their respective races in France, with the top three Europeans from each category earning a place automatically with two additional spots available for wildcard riders judged to have impressed by the BLU CRU Racing Committee.
The 2026 YZ BLU CRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale saw close and competitive racing across the three classes, YZ65, YZ85 and YZ125, making the job of selecting the wild card riders for the Masterclass especially difficult.
In the YZ65 category, the roster is headlined by Tymon Andrzejewski (Poland) who is set to prepare for his second Masterclass appearance, returning as both the reigning 2025 YZ65 BLU CRU Cup winner and the 2026 SuperFinale winner. He is joined by SuperFinale runner-up Tommy Wood (Great Britain), who makes his third Masterclass appearance having previously won the YZ65 BLU CRU Cup in 2024. Rounding out the YZ65 contingent is Matic Macek (Slovenia), and wildcard invitees Felix Lind (Finland) and Hugo Blascos (Spain). The boys will also be joined by the top-placed female rider, Fay Roijakkers (Netherlands).
The YZ85 Cup SuperFinale was a truly global showcase, with riders from the USA, Colombia, and Brazil claiming three of the top four positions. Croatia’s Roko Ivandic secured his first Masterclass invite following a brilliant ride in which he led for the majority of the race to finish second. Ivandic will be joined by a group of Masterclass regulars: 2025 YZ85 Cup winner Leo Gajser (Slovenia) is set to make his third appearance, while 2023 YZ65 Cup winner Willads Gordon (Denmark) returns for his fourth visit. The class is completed by wildcard invitees Maurice Heidegger (Austria), Lucas Taylor (Denmark), and the top-placed female rider, Sara Duplak, who joins the roster after her standout performance in Ernee, France.
In the YZ125 class, Luis Santeusarnio (Spain) secured his second Masterclass invitation following an impressive third-place finish at the SuperFinale. He is joined by fellow top five finishers Jorge Salvador (Spain) and Jarno Jansen (Switzerland). Completing the YZ125 roster are two wildcard selections: long-time BLU CRU star Storm Maymann (Denmark), who is set to make his third Masterclass appearance, and Alfie Geddes-Green (Great Britain), who will be making his Masterclass debut.
The Masterclass offers these young riders, aged between eight and 16 years, a unique opportunity to showcase their skills while training under the guidance of esteemed coaches and BLU CRU ambassadors, including former Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP rider Gautier Paulin, 2022 Women’s Motocross World Champion Nancy van de Ven and BLU CRU rider coach Brian Jørgensen. At the end of the two-day event, one rider from each class will be declared the winner.
The YZ125 winner will secure a place on a Yamaha-supported team, competing on a GYTR-kitted YZ125 in the 2027 EMX125 Championship. Additionally, the winners of the YZ65 and YZ85 categories will receive valuable support from Yamaha Motor Europe for their 2027 campaigns.
