2025 FIM Awards – Lausanne to host annual ceremony

The 2025 FIM Awards Ceremony takes place on Saturday 6 December with guests travelling from around the world to Lausanne as Switzerland, the FIM’s home country, stages the annual celebration for an historic first time.

Held in close partnership with the Canton de Vaud and City of Lausanne and with the support of Swiss Moto, the Swiss Motorcycle Federation, the glittering annual event will take place in the award-winning SwissTech Convention Center, a strikingly modern building that is notable for its use of innovative technologies and ongoing commitment to sustainability.

This esteemed gathering is one of the major highlights of the year and brings together the FIM Family and the 2025 FIM World Champions who have earned the ultimate accolade in motorcycle sport following another successful season of competition.

These will include, but not be limited to, FIM MotoGP™ World Champion Marc Márquez, FIM Superbike World Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu, FIM EnduroGP World Champion Josep Garcia, FIM Women’s Enduro World Champion Rachel Gutish, FIM MXGP World Champion Romain Febvre, FIM Women’s Motocross World Champion Lotte van Drunen, FIM Rally-Raid World Champion Daniel Sanders, FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, FIM TrialGP World Champion Toni Bou and FIM Women’s Trial World Champion Berta Abellan.

Prior to the evening ceremony, focus in the afternoon will be centred around the inauguration of the impressive new FIM Racing Motorcycle Museum (RMM) that is situated in the FIM’s previous headquarters in Mies and provides a permanent showcase to celebrate the rich and illustrious history of motorcycle racing, from its early origins all the way through to the present day.

The celebrations get under way on Friday evening when the FIM World Champions and their partners along with media representatives and sponsors are invited to the FIM Awards Warm-Up Party where they will enjoy a traditional Swiss dinner at Chalet Suisse. The following morning there will be pre-arranged interview opportunities available with the FIM World Champions before the RMM inauguration.

The biggest names in global motorcycle sport will then take centre stage on the Red Carpet at the SwissTech Convention Center, followed by the FIM Awards Ceremony and Dinner with the party continuing into the early hours of Sunday morning.

The FIM Awards Ceremony will be preceded by the FIM General Assembly on Friday 5 December at the same venue, which will include a full programme during which representatives from more than one-hundred National Federations will be required to vote on several important matters.

This will be the only occasion this year that so many motorcycling heroes and heroines will be in the same place at the same time, and it truly is an event that is not to be missed. However, those unable to attend on Saturday evening in person will be able to watch the entire medal ceremony LIVE and for free on FIM-MOTO.TV from 22.00 CET.
