Aprilia keeps the momentum in BSB at Knockhill

ALFIE DAVIDSON (APRILIA IN COMPETITION) TRIUMPHS IN RACE 2 AND SECURES A PODIUM IN RACE 1. HARLEY MCCABE (FIBRE TEC APRILIA-BY MLAV RACING) ALSO PERFORMS WELL, BRINGING THE SECOND APRILIA RS 660 TO THE PODIUM IN BOTH RACES
Aprilia RS 660 is once again protagonist in the British Superbike Championship. At Knockhill, Alfie Davidson was among the standout riders of the third round of the Pirelli Sportbike class, securing a victory in Race 2 and an important podium finish in Race 1.

The young talent of the Aprilia IN Competition team confirmed his potential from the previous two rounds, demonstrating his strong pace on the Aprilia RS 660 throughout the weekend. In Race 1, Davidson secured an impressive second-place finish following a comeback ride after a tricky start from the front row. Starting from pole position, the British rider remained at the top in Race 2, engaging in a hard-fought battle that saw him cross the finish line in second place behind Asher Durham. However, Durham was subsequently penalised for exceeding track limits and ordered to drop one position, handing the final victory to Davidson.

Harley McCabe (Fibre Tec Aprilia-By Mlav Racing) also delivered impressive performances, securing two third-place finishes on the RS 660. These results enabled Aprilia to achieve two double podiums at Knockhill over the weekend. Thanks to these results, Davidson maintains his leadership in the general standings with 144 points, holding a 24-point advantage over McCabe.

ALFIE DAVIDSON
I am very pleased with how this weekend went. I managed the races comfortably, without overdoing it, to secure as many points as possible. Finishing second and first is a brilliant result for me and the team. I can’t thank the guys enough for their extraordinary work on the bike.
