Dixie Speedway to Play Host to American Flat Track on April 7, 2018

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Dec. 22, 2017) – The red clay of legendary Dixie Speedway will be flying once again on April, 7, 2018, when race number two of American Flat Track’s 2018 season – the Harley-Davidson Atlanta Short Track presented by Hellbender Harley-Davidson – returns for the second year in a row to the three-eighth-mile Woodstock, Georgia, venue.

After a layoff since 1974, American Flat Track returned to the Atlanta area in 2017 at Dixie Speedway. The action in AFT Twins was hot and heavy, with Indian Motorcycle’s Jared Mees taking the win ahead of teammates Brad Baker and Bryan Smith. In AFT Singles competition, Yamaha-mounted Dalton Gauthier took the win ahead of Kevin Stollings and Shayna Texter, both on Hondas.

Located just outside of Atlanta, Dixie Speedway – voted Georgia’s Premier Dirt Track and Tourist Destination by USA Today – is both fan and family-friendly, and there’s free parking as well.
