After 10 laps, the 52 Racing Team rider crossed the finish line in second place but was subsequently handed a one-place penalty for track limits, dropping him to third and securing the points he needed to be crowned champion. Vuono completed a standout season, claiming all five pole positions and finishing on the podium in every race. The 52 Racing Team rider took four victories and one third-place finish, demonstrating remarkable consistency and a very high level of competitiveness throughout the season. Andrea Benvenuti finished second in the overall standings of the Aprilia RS 457 Trophy, having claimed four podium finishes across the five rounds, while Sebastiano Settimio Favaroni finishes third overall, with his second-place finish at Mugello as his best result of the season. The Trophy also represents a gradual and accessible step, both technically and financially, from smaller bikes to the major circuits, within a professional and highly competitive environment. Following the conclusion of its second edition at Misano, which saw 25 riders on the grid, the Aprilia RS 457 Trophy has further confirmed its role in developing and promoting young riders, continuing Aprilia Racing’s tradition of investing in the next generation and in the future of the youngest riders.
