The Rotax 998cc V-twin engine delivers crisp acceleration while 7 automotive technologies like anti-lock braking, traction control, and a semi-automatic transmission put you in control, making your ride as confident as it is exhilarating.

With 998cc, the powerful Rotax V-Twin engine delivers crisp acceleration and plenty of torque. Its electronic throttle delivers instant response and optimum fuel economy.

RESPONSIVE AND EASY

Choose between the semi-automatic (SE5) or manual (SM5) 5-speed transmission, both with reverse. The semi-automatic transmission uses paddle shifting for fast, smooth shifts without a clutch lever or foot shifter. The manual transmission’s fluid motion stems from the 5-speed gearbox created specifically for Can-Am Spyder.

DESIGNED FOR OPTIMAL CONTROL

Developed in partnership with BOSCH and inspired by automotive technologies, the Vehicle Stability System integrates anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control for an incredibly confident ride.
