2024 BMW K1600B: MORE IS ALWAYS AN OPTION.

Introducing the 2024 BMW K1600B…

The K 1600 B is proof that you can swim against the tide if things are streamlined. The elongated, typical bagger outline with its low rear section combines an elegant, casual character with a powerful presence. The entire bike has been fully geared towards you and your perfect tour: from things that are immediately obvious, such as the footboards, to the equipment you can only experience once you have taken a seat, such as the cockpit. It demonstrates a completely new design idiom: clear-cut and functional. The 10.25″ TFT color display now even features a hardened and anti-reflective cover lens for optimum readability. The K 1600 B leaves everything to you when it comes to experiencing the trip, yet nothing happens by chance.

Can you measure a casual character in numbers? You can with the K 1600 B: thanks to its revamped engine control unit, it now develops the 160 hp nominal power an impressive 1,000 rpm earlier than before, while the increased maximum torque of 132.7 lbs-ft is already available at 5,250 rpm: for even more intensity, superior tractive force and a more powerful appearance. For every straight line, every overtaking maneuver, every bend – or just for you. In keeping with this, the Ride Modes have now been designed to be even more emotional, with the engine drag torque control (dynamic engine brake control) and Dynamic ESA providing the necessary stability. And all of this is as casual to handle as it sounds.

The K 1600 B provides low-slung “streamliner” bagger styling accompanied by its moto “The Spirit of the Open Road”. It represents elegance, power and luxury on two wheels to allows the rider to experience every road, every tour and every moment. Derived from the K 1600 B, the K 1600 Grand America combines the superior performance of the six-cylinder in-line engine with exclusive equipment features that make long-distance rides an experience that is as comfortable as it is exhilarating, for both rider and passenger.

The K 1600 B is a synonym for elegance, power and luxury in typical bagger style.

With the K 1600 B one thing is for sure: nothing is more exciting than a long tour. The vast landscape whizzes past you while you are totally relaxed. Enjoy unleashing the power of the legendary six-cylinder engine. From then on, you are virtually eating up the road ahead of you, turning relaxed cruising with luxurious comfort into adventurous performance touring. Just like you would expect from the elongated and dynamically drawn bagger outline. Thanks to the K 1600 B, you’re happy to be riding a little longer, whether on your own or with friends. Simply put: #RideAndShare.

Operability, comfort, safety and performance: Say it like it is with the K 1600 B. Everything has been geared towards you and your traveling experience. In this process, the new lighting technology is state-of-the-art: thanks to the full LED headlight with adaptive headlight, you can turn night into day like never before, whizzing around bends in a much more dynamic way. The navigation quite literally also sets new standards. In full-screen mode, the display stands out with its 1,920×720 pixels in full HD resolution. You know your ways – but from now on you will also enjoy discovering new ones.

Your appearance counts
Relaxed cruising in total luxury, always keeping the horizon in sight: this is the world of the K 1600 B. Every moment, every impression counts in this vast expanse. And above all, it’s about the impression you leave behind.
