NEW 2019 RM-Z250 IMPRESSES EUROPEAN JOURNALISTS

Team Suzuki Press Office – December 31.

The recent official European Press Launch of the brand-new 2019 Suzuki RM-Z250 motocross machine saw leading journalists from the motorcycle media travel to Spain for three days of full-on testing and evaluation of the machine; with a great deal of positive feedback for the first riders to try the bike.

After some rain on Monday, both tracks the test riders could use were very muddy, which meant the RM-Z250 had to prove its class in some tough conditions. However, the warm temperatures at the off road park near Barcelona, saw the smaller track drying so quickly that the journalists enjoyed perfect test conditions later with excellent traction.

The general feedback from the Euro-Press was very similar: And as the 2019 RM-250 is a completely new bike, it is different in many ways to the previous model.

“My expectations have been topped by far. I had a lot of fun and I‘m looking forward to riding this bike again,” said Anna-Larissa Redinger from1000PS. Her German colleague, Marko Barthe, from Motocross Enduro added: “I especially loved the engine. It’s a great package from Suzuki.”

According to the event organisers, Suzuki Germany and Thomas Hannecke, everyone was happy and impressed, with some editors wanting to ride their bikes until sunset.

The new Dunlop Geomax MX33 tyres earned a great deal of feedback also; and Dunlop technicians were on hand to introduce the new tyre and answer the journalists’ questions, along with as employee of GET, who presented the new setup possibilities for the electronic mapping system. A group of Japanese engineers and test riders answered all questions and gave out further technical details
.
Detailed feedback on the new 2019 RM-Z250 will be published in Europe’s leading motocross magazines, newspapers and online media in January 2019.
