Ride more, worry less.

Design-wise, the 2009 Yamaha TT-R230 takes its cus from some of our most rugged competition machines. It’s perfect for novice to intermediate riders, with a compact wheelbase, a low seat, and the convenience of electric starting. The longer travel suspension smoothes out even the roughest terrain.

The 2009 TT-R230, the perfect mix of YZ styling with a user friendly chassis and engine.

Cottage fun or back forty trail riding, the TT-R230 will keep smils on everyones face…including the neighbours. With a compact wheelbase, low seat height and convenient electric starting, this bike is the ideal choice for novice to intermediate riders looking for a fun oriented “recreational” dirt bike.

Climb aboard and be a part of the YZ legacy: the styling and awesome lightweight handling of the TT-R230 are directly inspired by our competition bikes. You’ll tackle any terrain with confidence. The rugged, air-cooled 4-stroke engine with its convenient electric start pumps out plenty of predictable power. And the off road suspension is guaranteed to make short work of rough terrain. Little wonder you’ll want to ride all day.

With a push button electric starter, powerful four-stroke engine, competition-style flat seat/tank junction, long travel suspension, and 11.6 inches of ground clearance. The TT-R 230 is a serious trail bike that is also accessible to a wide range of riders.
