· Manuel Gonzalez (Kalex) was the fastest in qualifying in the Moto2™️ class and took pole position for the Grand Prix of Austria. The Spaniard used the combination of soft SC1 tyres at the front and supersoft development E0126 at the rear, the same adopted by all the other protagonists, including second-place Daniel Holgado and third-place Diogo Moreira, also on Kalex. · Pole position in Moto3™️ for Valentin Perrone (KTM), who made the most of the SC2 front and SC1 rear combination to set the best lap in 1:39.938. Behind him, with the same tyre combination, two other KTM riders were classified: Angel Piqueras, second, and Ryusei Yamanaka, third. · In both categories, the new all-time lap records were set. In Moto2™️, the adoption of the E0126 supersoft at the rear made it possible to improve on Sergio Garcia’s record of last year in all sessions, up to the new benchmark of 1:32.779 set by poleman Gonzalez, almost seven tenths faster. In qualifying, as many as 15 riders set times lower than the previous record of 2024. In Moto3™️, the 1:39.639 obtained by Maximo Quiles (KTM) in Free Practice 2 improves by almost three tenths the best lap recorded by Joel Kelso last season.
