The Borgo Panigale based manufacturer offers enthusiasts the chance to improve their riding skills through courses that combine theory and practice. With over twenty years of experience, the program is led by international instructors, including riders from MotoGP and Superbike. Each course takes place on the latest Ducati models and within prestigious circuits, ensuring an engaging, safe, and professional riding experience.

On Ducati.com you can find all the information about courses and programs, which can also make the perfect gift for an enthusiast during the holiday season.

Since its creation in 2003, the Ducati Riding Experience has welcomed over 34.000 participants, combining excitement, fun and safety, constantly updating its courses to meet the needs of every type of rider.

Those who want to focus on track riding can choose the DRE Racetrack and DRE Track Warm Up courses, while those who want to refine their riding skills not only on the track but also on the road will appreciate the DRE Road and DRE Rookie programmes, designed both for riders looking to improve their skills and for younger riders taking their first steps.

In 2026, the range of motorcycles available for the courses will be expanded with three brand-new additions: the Panigale V4 R, a protagonist in the Superbike championship starting in the 2026 season and the pinnacle of performance; the new Hypermotard V2, the most adrenaline-fueled, compact, and lightweight model in the range; and the fifth generation of the Monster, a timeless icon of motorcycling.

The season’s events have already been scheduled: DRE Racetrack, which also includes the One-to-One format, will be held on June 23rd and 24th at Mugello and on September 22nd and 23rd at the Misano World Circuit. The Autodromo di Modena will host DRE Road and DRE Rookie courses on June 6th, while June 7th will be dedicated to DRE Track Warm Up.

The DRE Academy Course Catalogue

DRE Rookie

DRE Rookie, the Ducati course for younger riders and those taking their first steps in the world of two wheels, returns in 2026. Designed for those who want to gain confidence, technique, and awareness on the bike, the programme offers a comprehensive training path, ideal for a gradual and professional approach to riding.

Aimed specifically at young people between the ages of 18 and 24 and all A2 license holders, DRE Rookie uses 35 kW Ducati motorcycles, perfect for beginners who want to experience the quality and technology of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer right from the start under the watchful eye of qualified instructors.

The one-day course features a balanced combination of theoretical sessions, focusing on riding position, bike handling, and the fundamental principles of safe riding, along with practical exercises in the paddock area, where balance, braking, manoeuvres, and control are worked on. The day concludes with a track session, always with a strong focus on safety, designed to put into practice everything that was learned during the paddock exercises. This structured training programme allows you to learn, practice, and then experiment directly on the track.

DRE Road

DRE Road is the format dedicated to those over 24 with an unrestricted A license: an unmissable event for those looking to take a real leap in their riding expertise. Ideal for both novices who want to gain greater confidence, and for those with more experience looking to hone their skills with the guidance of qualified riders, the DRE Road course allows you to increase safety, control, and riding pleasure, taking full advantage of the technological features of the Ducati range.

The course offers a full-day training program combining theory, practical exercises, and dynamic sessions at the Autodromo di Modena, with the aim of providing practical skills that can be immediately applied to everyday riding.

The programme begins with a theoretical session dedicated to correct riding posture, control management, the use of electronic safety systems, and fundamental techniques for smooth, predictable, and safe riding. Participants then complete a series of exercises in the paddock area and on the track to work on braking, balance, manoeuvres, and motorcycle control in typical road riding situations.

The final part of the day takes place on the track, not as a racing event but as a controlled environment in which to put into practice everything learnt during the day’s course. Trajectory lines, cornering dynamics, apex points, corner entry, and throttle management are covered with the constant support of instructors, allowing everyone to significantly improve their confidence and precision.

Finally, DRE Road offers various models from the Ducati range—Multistrada, Scrambler, Streetfighter, Hypermotard, and others—for a unique experience. This year, the motorcycle fleet is completed with the fifth generation of the Monster, the latest evolution of a true motorcycling icon.

DRE Track Warm Up

DRE Track Warm Up is aimed at motorcyclists who want to enter the world of track riding and learn the basics of riding between the kerbs. The format begins with a theoretical briefing, focusing on proper riding position, braking, acceleration, and riding technique. Track sessions are then held with the Panigale V2 S.

2026 brings major changes to this formula: the programme is enriched with a course dedicated to the Hypermotard V2 SP MY26 to discover the performance of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer’s new supermotard, and one dedicated to the Streetfighter V4, the most powerful naked bike in its category.

Furthermore, as with the Racetrack Academy, the exclusive One-to-One format will be available on the Panigale V2 S KIT, a personalized experience with a dedicated instructor and a private station in the garage. The course, in addition to track sessions, also includes exercises to gain familiarity and confidence in the paddock with the available Ducati range, with the exception of the Panigale, which will be used later on the racetrack.

DRE Racetrack

DRE Racetrack remains the benchmark for those who already have track riding experience but want to hone their skills and experience the thrill of riding a Ducati on MotoGP circuits. Education, fun, and adrenaline come together in different courses tailored to each experience level: Evo, Evo2, and Master.

The Ducati Panigale family is the star of this programme. The Panigale V2 S will accompany participants in the Evo and Evo2 courses, while the Panigale V4 S will be the focus of the Master courses.

The Evo and Master courses, in particular, will continue their successful formula for the 2026 season, featuring expert riders as instructors and the use of Action Cams. The Master course also features Ducati Data Logger (DDL) data acquisition and, most importantly, a ratio of three riders per instructor, offering participants even more comprehensive and personalized support.

The DRE Racetrack programme also offers One-to-One courses, designed for those seeking an exclusive experience in every sense. Each participant has a dedicated instructor, an individual station in the garage, Open Pit access, and a debrief after each session. All this transforms the day into a truly professional journey, allowing every rider to live out their passion for the track without compromise. Furthermore, action cameras will be available to record sessions and data acquisition systems to analyse performance in detail.

These courses are specifically tailored to each Ducati model. The One-to-One course with the new Panigale V4 R MY26 allows riders to discover the supersport road bike born from Ducati’s successes in MotoGP and Superbike.

The course with the Panigale V4 S allows you to try Ducati’s seventh-generation superbike and discover its performance and technical evolutions. For more experienced riders, the 2026 programme also offers a One-to-One course dedicated to the V4 S Racing Kit version, designed to teach you how to get the most out of every detail of the bike.

Finally, the course dedicated to the Superleggera V4 offers the opportunity to experience the pinnacle of Ducati engineering, a bike that combines extreme lightness, power, and precision for an experience reserved for those seeking maximum performance and excitement.

By taking part in one of these four experiences, participants will also enjoy an educational session as passengers with a qualified DRE instructor, who will conduct laps on track to demonstrate the correct lines, braking and acceleration points, and various riding techniques. The team of instructors boasts, among others, professional riders such as Michele Pirro, Karel Abraham, Lorenzo Zanetti, Franco Battaini, and Davide Stirpe, coordinated by Technical Director Dario Marchetti.
