Team Suzuki Press Office – July 7.
Suzuki Germany staged a special event at its home MotoGP race at Sachsenring this weekend, welcoming Team SUZUKI ECSTAR fans to its infield Suzuki Area.
As in previous years, Suzuki fans were offered tickets which included access to the Suzuki grandstand, catering throughout the weekend, plus an attractive welcome package, which was also handed out to all Suzuki riders attending.
More than 450 guests visited throughout the weekend, all having the chance to participate in exclusive paddock-tours – in which they were shown the hospitality and team facilities in paddock – and were able to visit the Team SUZUKI ECSTAR garage.
Guests were able to get up-close to the GSX-RR MotoGP machines and two groups per day were invited to have lunch in the team’s official hospitality area alongside Alex Rins, Joan Mir and the crew.
The Suzuki area also included a motorcycle exhibition which contained an original MotoGP bike and a race machine from the German Motorcycle Championship (IDM).
On Saturday afternoon, Rins and Mir joined the visitors in the Suzuki Area for an autograph session that was again enthusiastically attended by many fans.
The Suzuki grandstand, which offered a great view on the thrilling racing action, was a sea of blue from the Suzuki fans in Team SUZUKI ECSTAR colours, along with the countless flags that flew from start to finish, creating a wonderful; atmosphere.
