Turkish rider also dominated the Superpole Race and Race2

After winning Race1 yesterday, the Turkish rider also dominated the Superpole Race and Race2, still with the E0126 supersoft development rear. Manzi took home a double win in WorldSSP.

· Double win on Sunday at Magny-Cours for Toprak Razgatlıoğlu (BMW), who, after winning Race1 yesterday, also claimed victory in the Superpole Race and Race2 today, completing a perfect weekend in the WorldSBK French Round. In both races, the Turkish rider confirmed the same tyre choice as Saturday: E0126 supersoft development with SCX compound at the rear and SC2 at the front.

· In the Superpole RaceNicolò Bulega (Ducati) finished second, opting for the same rear tyre as Razgatlıoğlu and a SC1 front. While Alex Lowes (Bimota), third, opted for the SC1 front and E0479 extrasoft development rear combo. The race was faster than in 2024, with nearly 16 seconds shaved off the total time and an average improvement of over one and a half seconds per lap. On lap three, Razgatlıoğlu further improved his own race lap record from yesterday by more than a tenth.

· The tyre choice for Race2 mirrored that of Race1E0126 supersoft rear used by all riders, while at the front, alongside the winner, both Michael Van der Mark (BMW) and Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki) opted for the SC2, while all the others went with the SC1Bulega finished second again, and Alex Lowes third.

· With a spectacular comeback in the final laps, Stefano Manzi (Yamaha) managed to bridge a gap of over three seconds to Can Oncu (Yamaha) and snatch a win in WorldSSP Race2, repeating the result from Race1. Once again, all riders raced with the SC1 front and SCX rear combo.

The improved performance and consistency of the new supersoft continues to stand out

“Today, we had further confirmation of the positives already shown by the new SCX in E0126 specification. The 30°C asphalt temperature at the start of the Superpole Race was perfectly within its ideal operating range, and the results spoke for themselves: those who chose this solution found a strong ally in the grip department. Besides winning the race, Razgatlıoğlu further improved the race lap record he set yesterday, and the overall pace across the 10 laps was significantly faster than in 2024. Some riders, however, opted for the extrasoft – usually the preferred choice for the sprint race due to its softer compound – and the results were still positive. Alex Lowes, for instance, was the highest ranking using this option and took third place. In Race2, where asphalt temperatures were about 11°C higher than in the morning, the E0126 was the unanimous choice, confirming its effectiveness even over longer distances. After four rounds of use and such convincing performances, it seems clear that the development work has met its objectives: the step forward has been significant, both in terms of outright performance and wear resistance, with consistently positive rider feedback. The E0126 will make a comeback in future rounds, where we expect further confirmation of its potential. Strong performances came also from the standard SCX in WorldSSP, which supported Stefano Manzi in his spectacular late-race comeback, allowing him to bridge a large gap and take the win.”https://media.lulop.com/media/getbanner/Xrfza1FG3UuWoq.jpg
