WEEKEND ACTION AUGUST 5th 2018

The opening weekend of August sees Team SUZUKI ECSTAR riders back on the MotoGP track in Brno in the Czech Republic for round 10 of the series with Alex Rins and Andrea Iannone joined by Suzuki MotoGP test rider Sylvain Guintoli aboard the GSX-RR following his recent participation in the Suzuka 8 Hours EWC race in Japan with the Yoshimura Suzuki Motul Team.

In the UK, Buildbase Suzuki riders Bradley Ray, Richard Cooper and Billy McConnell are at round seven of the British Superbike Championship at the Thruxton circuit with their GSX-R1000 machinery – Ray and McConnell also having taken part at the Suzuka 8 Hours with the Yoshimura Suzuki Motul Team and R2CL Suzuki Team respectively.

August 5: Round 10. MotoGP. Automotodrom Brno. Czech Republic. Iannone, Rins and Guintoli are back on track tomorrow following today’s opening Free Practice sessions hoping to make good grid positions for Sunday’s race.

August 5: Round 7. British Superbike Championship. Thruxton. UK. Ray and Cooper are looking to get back into the main action and improve their points positions, while McConnell is looking for the same in the Superstock 1000 class aboard his GSX-R1000.
