The fourth weekend of August sees action from MotoGP™ in the UK plus AMA/ MotoAmerica Superbikes and AMA Motocross in America.
Team SUZUKI ECSTAR is at Silverstone for round 12 of MotoGP™ with Alex Rins joined by Suzuki MotoGP test rider Sylvain Guintoli, who is filling-in for Joan Mir, currently recuperating from injury at the recent Brno test.
Following 11 of 19 rounds so far, Rins holds 4th in the standings aboard the GSX-RR and Mir, who was forced to miss the previous round, is 13th.
Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing’s Toni Elias and Josh Herrin are at Pittsburgh International Complex for round 8 of 12; a series that Elias leads by 34 points and Herrin is 5th aboard the GSX-R1000.
The final round of the AMA Motocross Championship is the Ironman National and the JGRMX/ Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing Team are hoping to end on a high with stand-in rider Freddie Noren (RM-Z450) and Alex Martin, Kyle Peters and Enzo Lopes aboard their RM-Z250 machines.
