2019 Gettysburg Bike Week Books QUEENSRŸCHE at Battlefield Harley-Davidson Kickoff Party

Gettysburg, PA (February 13, 2019) – Back for its 19th anniversary rally at the Allstar Events Complex in Gettysburg, PA, Gettysburg Bike Week is proud to feature Queensrÿche for its premier Saturday night headlining spot. Festivities kick off Thursday, July 11, 2019, and run through Sunday, July 14.

“Queensrÿche is one of the most inspirational bands of its era,” says GBW event coordinator Kelly Shue. “We’re thrilled to have them.”

Formed in Bellevue, WA, in 1980, Queensrÿche has sold over 20 million records worldwide and rocked audiences for decades. Known for their distinctive cerebral approach to heavy metal, Queensrÿche continues to enjoy considerable FM radio airplay and thousands of passionate fans at their live shows. Queensrÿche joins a storied group of live music entertainers for this year’s rally, including Puddle of Mudd, Kashmir (The Live Led Zeppelin show), Jasmine Cain and many more.

The Gettysburg Bike Week Kick Off Party has always been a huge hit with everyone and this year it has moved to a bigger and better location, Battlefield Harley-Davidson. “Battlefield Harley-Davidson has always been a great supporter of Gettysburg Bike Week. We can’t think of a better place to kick off the festivities.” Says Kelly Shue. Wednesday evening is sure to be a great night with live music, prize drawings, food and beverages all at Battlefield Harley-Davidson.

And of course that’s just the tip of the entertainment iceberg, because legendary emcee Jack Schit will once again perform master of ceremonies duties throughout the week on the Budweiser Stage, Gin Gypsies will be slinging the drinks and this year’s rally will feature a cornhole tournament (directed by York Adams Cornhole). Expect heavy competition in the Cycle Source Ride-In Bike Show, Cycle Source mini-bike races, motorcycle games and the Parade of Chrome.

No rally would be complete without great riding, and Gettysburg has some of the best. Whether riders want to see historic battlegrounds or just hit the road for a great cruise, hundreds of miles of the best riding in the East surrounds Gettysburg. In addition to fantastic solo riding, GBW also features awesome group rides and the Pink Journey of Lights and Stars of Hope Charity Rides.
