The Australian Grand Prix will forever be remembered in the history of the Noale-based Manufacturer, with the triumph of Raúl Fernández on his Aprilia RS-GP25 marking a historic milestone: its 300th victory in the FIM Grand Prix World Championship.

A record that takes on even greater significance as it confirms Aprilia as the most successful European manufacturer in the history of Grand Prix racing and places the Factory from Noale at the heart of the sport’s legacy. Thanks to these results, Aprilia Racing enjoys a fanbase whose passion and tradition are truly unmatched.

Aprilia’s winning story spans every era of the sport and most of the categories in Grand Prix racing history, from 125cc to 250cc and all the way to MotoGP. In 1987, Aprilia celebrated the first of its 300 victories, with Loris Reggiani’s win in the 250cc class. In 1999 came the first major milestone: victory number 100, signed by Valentino Rossi at Welkom, also in the intermediate class. Seven years later, in 2006, Mattia Pasini claimed number 200 at the Sachsenring in the 125cc category. Today, number 300, achieved by Raúl Fernández at the Phillip Island circuit, marks a new chapter in the history of the Noale-based Factory.

Among the key figures of this extraordinary journey stand Valentino Rossi, the most successful Aprilia rider with 26 victories (12 in 125cc and 14 in 250cc), followed by Max Biaggi with 23 wins, all in the 250cc class, and Jorge Lorenzo with 17 wins in 250cc.

Aprilia’s path is built on talent, passion, and innovation, which has seen the birth and rise of legendary champions in the history of Grand Prix racing – 300 victories tells one truly Italian story of the passion and soul of Aprilia Racing and the Piaggio Group.

MASSIMO RIVOLA
Three hundred victories are a reward for the most successful European manufacturer of all time. But they are also a recognition of a unique brand and of all the people in Noale who have built our history and our present – even in the most demanding category: MotoGP. Three hundred victories are also a tribute to the Piaggio Group, which has allowed Aprilia Racing to become a Factory Team since 2022. Since then, year after year, Aprilia Racing has grown steadily, achieving numerous podiums and victories. This season is a testament to that growth, with the outstanding progress of Marco Bezzecchi, who best represents the spirit of this team, and with the historic milestone of Raúl Fernández, who secured Aprilia Racing’s 300th victory for the Noale Factory. This brand’s spirit makes us look to the future with great confidence and to aim for even more ambitious results.”
