2010 Yamaha Kodiak 350

The 2010 Yamaha Kodiak 350 brings together the comfort of Independent Rear Suspension (“IRS”), the traction control of Diff-lock and a new wet rear brake for those moments of intense exploration.

Packed with features including Yamaha’s bulletproof Ultramatic transmission,

mated to our On-Command 4WD system with rider selectable push button 2WD / 4WD / Diff Lock 4WD, and a set of Maxxis tires, this little Kodiak workhorse will get the job done, with time left over for a trail ride. And with an sealed wet brake in the rear, you’ll have added confidence when the weather decides not to cooperate.

Features/Benefits

Engine

The Kodiak 350 shares the same long lasting and well proven 348cc engine from the Bruin 350. Durable fuel efficient and versatile.

Transmission

Fully automatic transmission with engine brake for increased rider confidence, reduced brake component wear, and no freewheeling when off gas or down hills.

On-command 4WD

Push-button servo-controlled “On-Command” system allows you to switch between 2WD, limited-slip 4WD and fully locked differential 4WD – all with the simple push of a dash mounted button. Real 4-wheel drive when you need it. With Diff-lock engaged, there’s no need to wait for one wheel to spin. You have traction to all 4 wheels, immediately. This puts you in total control… you decide when you need 4 wheel drive… the machine doesn’t decide for you.

Electric Starter

Electric starting with recoil backup (electric starter will work in any gear)

Lights

Dual 30-watt Krypton multi-reflector sealed headlights with replaceable bulbs provide excellent lighting, prevents water penetration, and simplifies maintenance and reduces cost.

Floorboards

Steel reinforced plastic floorboards with raised integrated serrated foot pegs for excellent traction regardless of conditions.

Tires

25-inch Maxxis tires with more aggressive tire tread pattern for greater traction and excellent durability.

Bumper

Lower front bumper plastic skid plates. 45 degree attack angle allows unit to slide over taller obstacles without getting hung-up. Plastic design resists dents and corrosion.

Additional Features

IRS independent rear suspension, sway bar controlled. Sway bar added for limited chassis roll and great terrainability.

Spin-on oil filter simplifies oil changes.

High-positioned carb air intake and clutch intake and exhaust vents prevent water from entering carb or V-belt cover.

Grizzly type styling with new fenders and bumper. Excellent mud and splash protection.

Full plastic under frame skid plate protects engine and frame from damage and allows units to slide over rocks and logs.

25-inch Maxxis tires with aggressive tire tread pattern for greater traction and excellent durability.

Sealed marine-style electrical connectors.

Large-capacity racks, front and rear with crinkle coat paint process for superior corrosion resistance.

Steel reinforced plastic flooboards with raised integrated serrated footpegs for excellent traction regardless of conditions.

Handlebar-mounted choke lever that can be operated with gloves or mitts.
