The South West
Ah, the Southwest of Calgary, true foothill country! Here you will find the hills gradually getting larger untill you hit the Candian Rocky Mountains. The roads will curve more and more and the towns smaller and more remote. This is also the gateway to British Columbia though Crowsnest Pass. The journey though the rocky mountains is surpurb and the memories will last you a lifetime! If you love moutain roads, mountain scenery and splender, then look no further, Southeast of Calgary is for you.
My greatest trip in this area was from Whitefish, MO (usa) up into BC (Fernie) and into Alberta thought the Crowsnest Pass, a wonderful trip, and it is unfortunate we didn’t stop as much as I wanted to to take pictures because the scenery was beautiful! I will post what I do have for your enjoyment though.
