| VICTORY FOR HARRISON MACKAY (ARMADA SC31 RACING TEAM). GREAT PERFORMANCE FROM ALFIE DAVIDSON (INCOMPETITION APRILIA), BRINGING THE SECOND APRILIA RS 660 TO THE PODIUM |
| Aprilia RS 660’s winning streak in the British Superbike Championship continues. At Brands Hatch, Harrison Mackay was among the standout riders, securing victory in Round 5 of the Pirelli Sportbike category—the British championship class dedicated to production-based motorcycles.
The rider of the Armada SC31 Racing team backed up his impressive form from the previous round at Snetterton, demonstrating a strong pace on his Aprilia RS 660 right from the free practice sessions. Starting from the front row, Mackay dominated the race, taking a solo victory nearly five seconds ahead of the chasing colleagues. Alfie Davidson also stood out in the tight sprint for the podium. The young talent of the INCompetition Aprilia team secured a solid third-place finish, putting a second RS 660 on the podium and collecting crucial championship points. Harley McCabe (Fibre Tec Aprilia-By Mlav Racing) also delivered a strong performance, finishing fifth and allowing Aprilia to place three RS 660 machines in the top five. At the end of Round 5, Alfie Davidson maintains his lead in the overall standings with 172 points, holding a 24-point advantage over Harley McCabe. |
