CB1100A – Timeless style and charisma thoroughly modern function….

When Honda introduced the CB750/4 in 1969 it stunned the motorcycle world. Using expertise gained in building its world championship winning multi-cylinder race bikes Honda created the first mass production air-cooled in-line four. The formula was so successful that other manufacturers rushed to create big-bore, air-cooled in-line fours of their own and the genre was born. For over a decade these torque-laden powerhouses ruled the streets, and with good reason. Not only did they produce immediate, arm straightening, roll-on power, they were smooth, reliable and very comfortable with their upright seating position, high leverage handlebars and broad seats. Take a ride back in time and experience for yourself the timeless charm of effortless torque delivered in a smooth satisfying rush. And, discover the pride of ownership that comes with possessing such an exquisitely crafted machine. High quality touches can be found everywhere on the CB1100A from the deep, rich pearl blue paint on the classically styled tank, to the gleaming chrome steel fenders, to the polished engine covers, to the myriad little details that seem just right. Traditionally styled, but thoroughly modern, the CB1100A is fitted with fuel injection, linked Anti-lock Brakes, wide sporting radial tires and a stiff frame with up-to-date geometry. Modern handling, undeniable elegance and that silky smooth engine; the CB1100A delivers a truly rewarding experience.

Though the CB1100A Deluxue ABS pays homage to Honda’s long line of capable, reliable and fun street bikes, we wouldn’t look to the past without looking forward. This is a modern bike for riders that love to ride. Its1140cc, fuel-injected inline four is powerful and smooth, its chassis and suspension are agile and responsive, and it’s comfortable around town or on weekend rides. For 2014, we’re offering a Deluxe model with even more features. It’s a bike a whole new generation of riders is going to appreciate.

Modern. Timeless. And Exactly What A Motorcycle Should Look Like.

With its exposed, air-cooled engine, steel chassis, minimal bodywork and standard riding position, the CB1100A Deluxue ABS pays homage to the classics of motorcycling. But twist the throttle, squeeze the brakes and flick it into a corner and you’ll discover that it’s also a totally modern machine, with great handling and plenty of power. That’s the Honda way—combining innovation and performance with style and function.

More Choices For 2014.

In addition to the new six-speed transmission on all CB1100A Deluxue ABSs, this year, there’s a Deluxe model that adds twin exhaust pipes, a slightly larger fuel tank, and a stitched-look seat. The Deluxe model also comes with ABS.

Transverse-Four Engine.

Honda’s inline-fours are timeless—some of the best engines in all of motorcycling. The CB1100A Deluxue ABS carries that tradition and takes it to the next level, displacing 1140cc and featuring air cooling to look the way many think a bike should—why hide under a fairing?

Steel Chassis.

Honda’s original inline-fours and their Grand Prix bikes of the Hailwood era featured twin-loop full-cradle steel chassis in basic black. They looked great, but the CB1100A Deluxue ABS offers plenty of modern chassis geometry, too. You’ll find this machine handles as well as it looks.

Triple Disc Brakes.

Honda’s original CB750 introduced disc brakes to motorcycling’s mainstream. The new CB1100A Deluxue ABS offers triple discs with huge calipers for excellent stopping ability. The CB1100A Deluxue ABS Deluxe adds ABS for confident stopping in more challenging conditions.
