Schiranna, Italy, May 29th, 2019 – MV Agusta announces it will soon start the production of the Superveloce 800 concept bike presented last November at EICMA. Delivery of the first 300 units series of “Superveloce 800 Serie Oro” is expected in March 2020.
Deemed “the most desirable and anticipated bike of 2020”, the Superveloce 800 Serie Oro will be exactly the same as the concept presented at EICMA last November. A combination of 1970’s flair and modern-day state-of-the-art technology, the Superveloce 800 literally stole the show and requests for a production version started raining in at Schiranna.
Many iconic details of the Superveloce 800 are reminiscent of MV Agusta’s glorious legacy, utilising a steel trellis chassis, a 148 HP inline-3 cylinder 799 cc engine with a counter-rotating crankshaft coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and an iconic triple-exit exhaust system. The Superveloce 800 also includes a number of advanced technologies, including a TFT dashboard as well as state of the art engine and vehicle control electronics incorporating Ride-by-Wire, multi-maps and traction control.

HI-TECH
The user-friendly handlebar and foot controls perfectly compliment the clarity of the new TFT dashboard with dedicated graphics and a host of new features.
LED LIGHTS
Both the headlamp and taillight are LED: the former is a sophisticated twin-function full-LED polyellipsoidal unit. The daylight running light, also LED, is built into the cover of the new instrument cluster.
MORE POWER, MORE TORQUE
The chassis architecture, engine and braking system are directly derived from the speedy MV Agusta F3 800, with some slight changes that enhance the performance and driving experience of the new Superveloce 800 Serie Oro.
ENGINE
The Superveloce 800 Serie Oro engine has been entirely remapped to enhance power characteristics, and the whole exhaust system has been redesigned based on the classic 3-in-1-in-3 layout. The pipes are placed asymmetrically with two on the right and one on the left, features that recall the technical and aesthetic solutions traditionally adopted by MV Agusta through the years.
DETAILS
The carbon fibre fairing clings to the sleek and functional forms of the engine and frame like a second skin. The upper fairing, with its classic lines, pays tribute to the design ethos of the seventies, also highlighted by the yellow shade of the plexiglass windscreen and the glass headlight unit.
SAFETY
The riding position and the height of the seat, handlebars and foot pegs are adopted directly from the F3 800 in a bid to ensure an ergonomic design and maximum driving efficiency. The foot pegs are adjustable and allow the rider to customize their position.
SUPER STYLE
The MV Agusta Superveloce 800 Serie Oro concept was unveiled at the 2018 EICMA as a precursor to the model to be produced in the second half of 2019. Due to its unique technical and aesthetic properties, the bike is destined to become one of the most eclectic and original models in the company’s history.
ADVANCED ELECTRONICS
The SUPERVELOCE 800 features the latest evolution of the MVICS system with multi-map Full Ride by Wire, 8-level traction control and EAS 2.0 up & down electronic gearbox mated to a hydraulic slipper clutch. The electronic injection system has two injectors per cylinder with record 50 mm diameter throttle bodies.
