2027 Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure ABS: HARD BAG ADVENTURE.

Introducing the 2027 Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure ABS…

The KLR650 ADVENTURE ABS adds carrying capacity and convenience with factory-installed side cases, LED auxiliary lights, frame sliders, a tank pad, a DC power outlet, a USB socket, and ABS.

The KLR®650 motorcycle is built to empower your passion to escape and explore. Dual-purpose capability allows the journey to go on- and off-road, and a reputation for enduring reliability helps you focus on the adventure at hand. For decades, this legendary motorcycle has inspired countless stories from all over the world, and the spirit to make new memories continues to beckon today.

RELIABILITY & CONFIDENCE
At the heart of every KLR650 is a fuel-injected, 652cc, four-valve single-cylinder engine. A flat power curve supports controlled low-speed off-road riding and confident freeway cruising, while strong midrange-focused performance helps the KLR650 handle everyday travel and extended adventures. Fuel injection contributes to impressive fuel efficiency and dependability starting in cold conditions and at high altitude.

A 6.1-gallon fuel tank supports long stretches between fuel stops, adding to the KLR650’s long-distance touring capability. A large 300mm front brake disc delivers strong stopping power, while ABS-equipped models provide added rider reassurance.

RIDE COMFORT & TOURING POTENTIAL
The high-tensile steel, semi-double-cradle frame incorporates an integrated rear frame and a long chassis layout for composed handling at highway speeds, with or without luggage. Long-travel suspension helps absorb bumps on pavement and off-road terrain, while the relaxed, upright riding position supports long hours in the saddle. Rubber-mounted handlebars and footpegs, along with rubber dampers beneath the seat, help manage vibration and enhance comfort.

A tall windshield with two-position adjustability provides wind protection for longer rides. The large aluminum rear carrier adds useful cargo capacity. Available Kawasaki Genuine Accessories include side cases and a top case with top-opening convenience, one-key compatibility, and styling designed to complement the motorcycle.
A 26-amp generator provides up to 80 watts of capacity for accessories, depending on usage.

TOUGH ADVENTURE LOOKS
The KLR650’s imposing chassis, large fuel tank, and protector-equipped shrouds create the rugged, functional appearance expected of a go-far adventure motorcycle. Carefully selected colors and graphics reinforce its tough image, while the energy-efficient LED headlight provides bright illumination and complements the overall styling. An all-digital multi-function instrument panel keeps important information easy to view.

2027 Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure ABS Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

ROCK-SOLID POWER
Powered by one of the most reliable and trusted engines in the industry, the KLR®650 dual-sport motorcycle has a 652cc single-cylinder engine that offers a flat power curve, allowing you to cruise at freeway speeds and navigate trails effortlessly. On- or off-road, this powerhouse is here for the long haul.

EASY STARTING
The KLR®650 motorcycle’s fuel injection system makes for a reliable start, especially when your adventures take you to high altitudes or colder conditions.

GO THE DISTANCE
Take your adventure further with the generous fuel range. Fuel injection combined with the large-volume 6.1-gal fuel tank allows you to go farther between fuel stops.

STRONG AND POWERFUL
Tackle the trails, navigate through traffic, and cruise at highway speeds with strong overall power delivery and powerful mid-range torque. In addition, the modern, single-cylinder engine is proven against the elements and incredibly fuel-efficient, making the KLR®650 motorcycle a highly reliable companion for extended on- and off-road travels.

COMPOSED CHARACTER
Ride confidently through varying terrain with a durable chassis and long-travel suspension. A sturdy 41mm fork handles suspension duties up front, and an adjustable Uni-Trak® rear suspension system helps the KLR®650 motorcycle deliver an all-around composed riding character while front and rear disc brakes help you stop with confidence.

RIDE SMOOTHLY
Optimized suspension settings, a long swingarm, and an integrated rear frame contribute to confident handling, whether on a single track, backroad, or interstate highway.

The KLR®650 S motorcycle features a seat height of 32.1 in versus 34.3 in on the KLR®650 motorcycle. A combination of reduced wheel travel, reduced seat thickness, and optimized suspension settings makes it easier to reach the ground while retaining excellent suspension performance, road handling capability, and ride comfort.

FULL STOP
Powerful front and rear disc brakes deliver strong and consistent braking performance throughout your entire ride. The optional anti-lock braking system (ABS) offers additional assurance when riding on lower-friction surfaces.

KEEP COMFORTABLE
The KLR®650 motorcycle takes comfort and touring potential to the next level while maintaining the highly acclaimed reliability of its predecessor. Optimized frame strength and rigidity, under-the-seat rubber dampers, rubber-mounted handlebars, and footpegs all contribute to maximum comfort and carrying capacity for long-distance touring.

COMFORT IS KING
Increase your riding comfort by combating wind and weather with the tall 2-position adjustable windshield. The optimized handlebar and footpeg positions with rubber mounts provide a relaxed riding position with low engine vibration for maximum comfort. For long rides, you’ll enjoy the rubber-dampened comfort seat with a tapered shape and supple seat cover for maximum bump absorption and ride comfort.

CARRY ON
Pack all your essentials with the large aluminum rear carrier and available accessory side and top cases complete with a convenient 1-key system. Generous generator capacity offers 80W of power with an output of 26A, to meet the power needs of grip heaters, fog lamps, and other electrical accessories, perfect for your next extended adventure.

ROBUST STYLE AND NEW TECH
Turn heads with adventure-inspired colors and graphics that have been specifically designed to reflect the bike’s tough capabilities and ruggedness. The all-digital multi-function instrumentation will keep you updated at a glance so you can stay in the action.

RUGGED GOOD LOOKS
Take on the road with the protector-equipped shroud design that adds functional strength to the tough, adventure style. The side cover, tail cowl, taillight, turn signals, and black-coated rims add to the robust and aggressive styling of this model. And a bright LED headlight shows you the way when your ride continues past sunset.
