The VERSYS 1100 SE LT ABS adventure touring motorcycle combines a 1,099cc four-stroke in-line four-cylinder engine with a Bosch IMU, KCMF, KECS, KIBS, electronic cruise control, selectable Power Modes and smartphone connectivity through RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE*. A 43mm Showa cartridge front fork and rear shock provide 5.9 inches of suspension travel at each end, while 17-inch wheels use a lightweight six-spoke design. Dual 310mm front brake discs are gripped by four-piston radial-mount monobloc calipers, with a single-piston pin-slide caliper and 260mm disc at the rear. Standard KQR hard side cases offer 28 liters of capacity and a maximum load of 11 lbs. each, with locks operated by the ignition key. Flowing bodywork, highly durable paint and all-LED lighting complete its touring package.

SMOOTH & RESPONSIVE
Electronic Throttle Valves enable the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to control the volume of both fuel and air delivered to the engine, resulting in smooth, natural engine response and output. Electronic Cruise Control is also made possible by the advanced functioning of Electronic Throttle Valves.
COMING IN CLUTCH
Assist & Slipper Clutch technology offers a comfortably light lever pull and back-torque limiting function. When excessive engine braking occurs the slipper cam relieves pressure on the clutch plates to help prevent the rear tire from hopping or skidding.
GEAR UP
Longer overall gearing optimizes power feel for the higher-displacement engine. Gear ratios were chosen to accommodate a wide range of riding situations, including sport riding, highway cruising, and riding fully loaded with passenger and luggage.

KAWASAKI ELECTRONIC CONTROL SUSPENSION
The VERSYS® 1100 SE LT ABS motorcycle’s advanced suspension system adapts to riding conditions, providing the ideal amount of damping in real time. The system incorporates Showa’s Skyhook Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment (EERA) technology, carefully tuned by Kawasaki engineers to preserve a sporty riding character while delivering a smoother ride. EERA continually adapts to the road surface in real time to enable light steering on highways and a more planted feel in wet conditions.

KAWASAKI QUICK SHIFTER
Complementing the VERSYS® 1100 SE LT ABS motorcycle’s exhilarating engine character, Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts for seamless acceleration and quick, easy deceleration. The KQS feature operates in a wider range of rpm, with a lower minimum rpm limit, giving riders smooth shifts even when in town or doing slower-speed riding for added riding comfort.

A Bluetooth® chip built into the instrument panel lets you connect to your motorcycle wirelessly. LEAN INTO IT
LED cornering lights are thoughtfully built into the shrouds, helping illuminate the road when cornering. Each of the three lights has a fixed direction and is activated based on lean angle. As the bike leans over, the lights come on in sequential order, creating a wider illuminated path in the direction the bike is heading.

INERTIAL MEASUREMENT UNIT
Using Bosch’s compact Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), inertia is monitored along 6 Degrees of Freedom. Acceleration along longitudinal, transverse, and vertical axes, plus roll rate and pitch rate are measured. The yaw rate is calculated using Kawasaki’s proprietary dynamic modeling software. Inputs from the IMU give the ECU software an even clearer real-time picture of chassis orientation.
KAWASAKI TRACTION CONTROL
Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) covers a wide range of riding conditions, offering enhanced sport riding performance and confidence while you’re on the road. When turned on, you can select from three modes to choose the degree in which each mode intervenes during riding.
KAWASAKI CORNERING MANAGEMENT FUNCTION
The VERSYS® 1100 SE LT ABS utilizes advanced technology to deliver superior cornering performance. The Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) uses input from the IMU to enable cornering management, which monitors engine and chassis parameters to assist riders in holding their intended line through corners.
KAWASAKI INTELLIGENT ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM
Kawasaki’s supersport-grade, high-precision brake management system is standard on the VERSYS® 1100 SE LT ABS motorcycle. High-precision brake pressure control enables the hydraulic pressure to be modulated in much smaller increments than standard ABS systems, conserving lever feel when Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS) is active and ensuring that ABS pulses feel light.
