I’m excited to announce two big performance boots today with new 2026 Kawasaki Performance Bikes that were just launched and our very own TMW Performance Updates as well for the Total Motorcycle website. Let’s talk TMW first, over the last several weeks myself and our host Idleserv has been working on not only updating our WordPress theme (new base code), but also working behind the scenes to make the site load faster and have better UX (UX = User Experience FYI) than ever before. It’s been a great deal of work with many countless hours, working weekends and late nights. But we did it and it is live right now… thus if you are reading this, you are seeing and experiencing the new changes. Hopefully you don’t notice too much that is different on your end, it’s all smooth, works well and is faster too. It’s a little of what I do to make your experiences better on TMW! The next big performance boost is the announcement of the more 2026 Kawasaki Motorcycle Models! The blazingly fast 322 horsepower 2026 Kawasaki Ninja H2R ABS, carbon wrapped 2026 Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon ABS, supercharged hypersport racer 2026 Kawasaki Ninja H2 ABS, 70’s influenced bodywork and new retro colour 2026 Kawasaki Z650RS ABS and independent minded rider 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S ABS!
Also, we have a special somewhat Kawasaki 2026 Bimota KB998 Rimini a new model reborn under the aegis of Kawasaki (which has held a 49% stake since 2019).
On a quick side note, I noticed the large images in our 200o to 2009 Motorcycle Model Guides and 2010 to 2016 Motorcycle Model Guides were having some issues so I’ve uploaded ALL 10,000 of them again to make sure they load properly when clicked on (still getting some issues with preview on the pages, but clicking through will show the image).
And almost forgot to mention, I worked on and improved our Motorcycle Models Comparison Tool! Now it’s easier than ever to Compare 2 motorcycle models or Compare 4 motorcycle models. Works for High Resolution Desktops (mobile and tablets are not high enough resolution).

2026 KAWASAKI HYPERSPORT MOTORCYCLE LINEUP
Kawasaki welcomes the return of its supercharged 2026 hypersport motorcycles, including the Ninja H2 ABS, Ninja H2 Carbon ABS, and Ninja H2R ABS. These limited-production 2026 model-year motorcycles are set for customer orders for a limited time only.
These limited-production supercharged Ninja models represent the unbridled pinnacle of Kawasaki engineering, with astonishing acceleration and mind-bending power. Boasting a powerful 998cc inline 4-cylinder engine, state-of-the-art electronics, and the latest Brembo brakes, the Ninja H2 ABS and Ninja H2 Carbon ABS amount to pure performance on the road, while the Ninja H2R ABS reaches top speeds suitable only for the track.
HYPERSPORT
NINJA H2 ABS / NINJA H2 CARBON ABS
The Ninja H2 ABS and Ninja H2 Carbon ABS motorcycles are pure street-legal hypersport performance. Featuring a 998cc inline four-cylinder engine that produces 239.6 HP, proprietary supercharger, lightweight trellis frame, compact superbike dimensions, aerodynamic bodywork, and a rigid single-sided swingarm. Both models feature high-spec Brembo Stylema brake calipers, Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC-9 modes) and Kawasaki’s highly durable self-healing paint. In the cockpit, a TFT (thin-film transistor) color instrumentation display with four selectable display modes can be found, as well as Bluetooth Smartphone Connectivity via RIDEOLOGY THE APP*. Bringing all this power and technology to the pavement are Bridgestone RS11 tires. The Ninja H2 Carbon ABS was developed as a special, limited-edition model that features beautiful, strong, and lightweight carbon fiber front bodywork and special insignia.
NINJA H2R ABS
The development of the Ninja H2R ABS goes beyond the boundaries of any other Kawasaki motorcycle. ‘Built Beyond Belief’, the world’s only limited production supercharged hypersport model represents the unbridled pinnacle of Kawasaki engineering, with astonishing acceleration and mind-bending top speed suitable only for closed course circuits. The Ninja H2R features a 998cc inline four-cylinder engine with an incredible 321.5 HP¹, proprietary supercharger, lightweight trellis frame, compact superbike dimensions, carbon fiber aerodynamic devices, fully adjustable high-performance racing suspension and a rigid single-sided swingarm. This closed-course-only motorcycle also features Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM), Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers, Öhlins rear shock, highly durable self-healing paint and sits at the head of the class in advanced electronics and technological development.
The order period for the 2026 Ninja H2R ABS, Ninja H2 ABS, and Ninja H2 Carbon ABS will take place from September 2, 2025 through October 31, 2025.
