– 2000 Triumph Thunderbird

The Thunderbird’s blend of authentic 1960s styling cues, inspired by Triumph’s own rich heritage, combined with thoroughly modern engine and chassis technology have proved perennially popular in the market for traditionally styled cruiser motorcycles.

The classic look is achieved by the combination of polished aluminium and chrome plated components (including even the rims of the wire-spoked wheels) with stunning paint schemes, all shaped to evoke the images of yesteryear while providing the sort of ergonomic design which a modern rider both expects and appreciates.

Triumph’s famous 885cc, three-cylinder engine is tuned in the Thunderbird to produce 70PS (69bhp) and produce enormous torque at exceptionally low revs, a perfect match for the relaxed riding style that the Thunderbird’s mellow, classic design encourages.

The steel spine frame ensures sure-footed handling and also offers a low seat height for excellent low speed control.

The rich personality of the Thunderbird can be readily tailored by the rider with the extensive range of Triumph accessories available.
