When it’s time to step it up a notch, the three-speed automatic-clutch four-stroke-powered TT-R90E is the way to go. Complete with big TT-R styling cues and electric start.

The TT-R90E is loaded with great YZ-inspired features.

The air-cooled, 89cc 4-stroke pushes smooth and reliable revs to help the aspiring novice learn to ride, and 3-speed transmission with automatic clutch will ease them into the basics of shifting while delivering a hassle-free ride that keeps the focus on fun. To get ‘em out of the gate faster, we’ve added a convenient electric starter. Big-bike performance in a nifty little package. We guarantee the grin will be from ear-to-ear.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Adult supervision and proper protective riding gear, including a helmet, are a must when a youngster is operating a TT-R90E.

– CDI ignition system delivers a hot, reliable spark, sure starts and requires no maintenance.

– Washable foam air filter reduces maintenance costs.

– Lightweight, upswept exhaust system is quiet and comes equipped with a spark arrestor to protect Mother Nature. Heat shields protect young riders from hot components.

– Rugged perforated engine skid plate protects engine from rock and log damage.

– Rugged “mid size” steel Backbone-type frame design combines with a compact, 1040mm wheelbase for easy, agile handling.

– Triangulated steel swingarm is both rugged and rigid.

– Leading axle 26mm front fork with 110mm (3.9″) of wheel travel provides confidence-inspiring control over rough terrain.

– Monocross single shock rear suspension with 95mm (3.7″) of wheel travel delivers progressive suspension performance to smooth out rugged trails. Spring preload has 2 positions of adjustment.

– Low 625mm (24.6″) seat height provides a handling-enhancing lower centre of gravity and allows most riders to put both feet firmly on the ground for added confidence.

– Long, motocross-style seat is low, comfortable and allows easy rider movement.

– Front and rear drum brakes deliver strong dependable stopping power.

– Rugged steel rims fitted with knobby tires offer superb grip in the dirt.

– 160mm (6.3″) of ground clearance and a rugged engine skid plate maximize under-carriage protection.

– Rugged YZ-inspired plastic body components resist damage in the event of a tip-over.

– Team Yamaha-inspired colours, graphics, and front and side number plates create styling similar to the larger YZ line-up.

– Handlebar-mounted, key-operated ignition switch prevents unwanted joy rides.

– Special sealed battery design is low-maintenance and prevents leakage even during a tip-over.

– Serrated steel folding footpegs provide excellent footing even in wet or muddy conditions.

– Handlebar with reinforcing crossbar and protective foam pad
