| Roberts Secures Second Place in Dusty Hare & Hound Race
At the 2026 Rabbit Creek 100, Zane Roberts continued his consistent run in the AMA Hare & Hound National Championship by securing his third consecutive runner-up finish of the season. Riders faced a grueling 114-mile course in Southwestern Idaho defined by heavy silt and extreme dust, the latter playing a large role in visibility throughout the race. Despite the challenging conditions, Zane remained near the front, nearly jumping into first on a mid-race mistake by the leader. At one point, Roberts closed the gap significantly, but he ultimately couldn’t find a way to the lead in the nasty dust. He crossed the line in 3:08:44, finishing just over a minute behind the winner but firmly establishing himself as a challenger in the title chase. |
